Trash should be picked up daily so the rodent don’t come being the trash cans are in the front of the doors it also can hold odors when left & it’s not a pretty sight they didn’t pick up my tied up trash & the trash should never be piled up on the curb otherwise I love my complex it’s well kept clean and the view is beautiful on a sunny morning

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are very sensitive to trash concerns and want to make sure we are doing everything possible to keep our community clean. We pick up trash 5 days a week between 6pm and 9pm. This happens Sunday through Thursday. We will remind residents that it is their responsibility to take their trash on Friday and Saturday directly to the compactor.

I recently moved to Avana on Broad. The staff has been very helpful and made the move easy. The apartment is very nice. The few things that needed fixing have either already been addressed or will be fixed by maintenance in the very near future. The landscaping is beautiful and the amenities are a real plus. I've been here less than a week and it already feels like home. The staff is very helpful and they really seem to care. So far, I highly recommend Avana on Broad.

I feel there’s a lot of potential in these apartments . The fee to receive packages by a third party is no other than a rip off. I feel discouraged. It wasn’t until recently that the introduction of a new dumpster unit was brought to the apartments finally reducing clutter and making the buildings look clean. The accumulation of trash outside reminded me of a third world country.

I have good and bad experiences. More effort needs to be placed on community maintenance on a timely basis. If they are unable to do maintenance on time the resident needs to know that there is a delay instead of the resident calling and being unable to get through to someone. It is very frustrating.

Great place to live. Peaceful and clean. Mgmt always helps when needed and people walk dogs and everyone speaks. Sometimes I leave real quick and I leave my door unlocked not worried about someone coming in. Love it here!

Avana on Broad is a great place to be at if you’re on the hunt for a great apartment. Maintenance works in a fast/ timely manner. The manager, along with everyone else in the office pushes out events going on for the entire community which is nice!

When I first moved to Avana in 2021 it was wonderful; clean, quiet, respectful neighbors, overall great community. Things have drastically changed, the entire complex stinks of weed and cigarettes, there is trash/food scraps/dirty needles/drug paraphernalia throughout the complex. The trash is constantly overflowing. During the summer months the pools are constantly being closed for “repairs” and always dirty.

I have enjoyed residing at Avana on Broad since 2004 at different times. The maintenance service is excellent. we are close to shopping, schools, transportation , trails and hospitals. My niece lives here, my ex-husband lives here and my sister is relocating from New York to live here at Avana on Broad.

I have lived in this community since 2004 off and on and in five different apartments, including one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, I have been satisified each time. Avana On Broad is located near shopping, transportation and hospitals.

Great community. Clean and well maintained. Neighbors are friendly and speak. Property offers gatherings but sometimes it's during work hours for me since I'm off at 530.

I love everything about avana on broad , the leasing team were very nice and helpful, the environment is excellent, great location and clean community. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a serene place to live, it’s a great place to raise kids too

I have resided here at Avana on Broad off and on since 2004. I love the environment and I feel safe. I am close to shopping, transportation and hospitals.It is quiet and my neighbors are friendly and considerate.

Over the past two years, I’m on my third lease and despite recent changes in office lease staff there has been a consistent lack of communication from the office staff. In 2022 my rent was increased despite that no updates were made to my unit or to the amenities. In fact, the “tiles” in my unit peeling and multiple requests to fix it, my requests were ignored or dismissed. The front gates are often out of order. There are two pools in the complex, but the second pool wasn’t opened to the residents until 2023 (my first lease was in 2021) and in 2022 the primary closed prior to July 4th and remained closed for most of the summer. These are just a few things off the top of my head. Most recently I submitted my move in inspection and I have yet to hear back.

We put in several maintenance requests for numerous issues with our unit; Mold beneath fresh corking in the restroom, random holes found in the foundation among other issues. We were sent a confirmation that the maintenance was completed; The issue is that 10 minutes prior to the confirmation, my partner was still inside the unit and saw/heard no one. So, you can imagine how I felt reentering our unit— Maybe someone came in to spray for insects, but we still have ants, grasshoppers and the largest roaches known to man invading our unit and it would be nice to have notice of or at least a window of when someone will be coming because the last maintenance person (who was very kind) quickly knocked twice and waited all of 3 seconds before turning their key.
