Leasing will say anything to have you sign a lease for their bonus and then after the fact, you longer exist. If you love bugs this is the place for you.

Avana court is a great community. Management and the maintenance team are excellent. The problems I have at Avana are 1) outdated kitchen 2) neighbors that smoke and drink, will leave the cigarette buds and beer bottles on the ground.

Very inconvenienced with mailboxes being broken for over a year and forced to pay for post office box plus a lot of our mail and packages were never recovered

Horrible place to live infested with ants and takes them months to fix the issue, leasing office is a nightmare. They say they will do something and they will literally forget and then gaslight you claiming they never mentioned anything until they pull up the email proof at which point they talk in circles since they have no intentions of helping. I moved out last month and they failed to update everything in the system which they said they would so my account was charged over 1k. Iv been emailed for almost 2 weeks and calling since the charge came out over 4 days ago and still no call back! DO NOT MOVE HERE

This community is almost like a small city to itself. The people here are friendly and each building is a community of its own. The staff is friendly and helpful and the maintenance staff is friendly, quick and thorough.

I’m very unhappy here. Car was broken into . Bad neighbors who make the chandelier shake. Flooded apt. to a deteriorating infrastructure , mole. Mailboxes don’t work properly.

We have lived at Avana Court for almost 3 years. Maintenance has always been fast and it’s a safe area! It is expensive (everything is right now) but we’ve enjoyed making it out home. :)

Avana court can be a good place to live but they need to put a lot more emphasis on the residence and their needs instead of just collecting and fixing miner repairs and the major ones stays their and gets worse .

My rent was increased for no specific reason while my entire apartment fell apart for an entire year every week there was new problem which took minimum five days to be responded to then get corrected. There was one water that took six weeks to get corrected. Bath took one year to be acknowledged for repair. On that basis my rent was increased at the end of year . For the mess that I was living in I think I should have being considered for a no increase or a very small increase. I guess no body cares it’s just business.

This apartment complex is suffering real bad. The rent sky rocketed, only to have a ton of abandoned and stolen vehicles on the property. That says a lot right there. The main gate is broken and just thrown in the bushes to the side of the entrance (tacky). The trash area is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS overflowing and flowing in the lane that your supposed to drive thru to drop the trash off. The entrance areas to your apartment is always dirty. The back entrance gate is always broken. They never answer the phone at the office, it’s always sent to a calling service. They continuously set my alarm off, new and old company and always say they don’t have it in the system. Well if one person put it in, why is that always the excuse. It’s about time to move. I’ve lived here for 12 years in 3 different apts, but once TISHA wasn’t there anymore I knew it wasn’t going to be good.

Maintenance staff is excellent here. They always are fast to fix our issues. We have a great pest control company- you as a resident have to do your part and keep a clean home & use pest control as needed. Office ladies Ebony & Melissa have been wonderful to us.

With my short stay here I love this apartment structure good for family of 2 or more pool , gym , laundry and close access to basic needs and school getting things fix or replaced by management is not a hassle.

Apartments not fully renovated as told. They charge you for Premier updated unit and you do not get that but still charged for Premier unit.

It has a mold problem in this complex. I've been living here for 3 years, in a another building before this one. In these apartments you can smell the mold without it being visible. The mold thats here is BLACK MOLD not healthy at all. The floor in the apartments on damp at times. Living on the first floor you can feel it on the floor bc its the soil from the ground. I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing mold issues. Meanwhile I'm an Asthmatic, I will not be renewing my lease here.

In the beginning i thought their communication was good. But that changed in a day or so I got declined due to technical issues on their end. It’s going on 2 months and I have yet to get my refund back. When I called in I found out that it took them 2 weeks to process my refund and then I got was told it would be 30-45 days to get my refund back. And luckily I called in because they were going to send it to the wrong address. It wasn’t about the $$ amount refunded it was the lack of concern or care for an applicant. When I spend $250 to apply the communication was prompt but once that changed I haven’t heard a word back. Just make sure you 100% like this place if not you’ll be out of money and have a bad taste in your mouth for a while.

This morning I drove 40 minutes to see a tour of a unit. I currently have a lease that ends in 3 months, however I am looking to move as soon as possible. When I arrived at 11:10am the leasing agents informed me that I needed to make an appointment. I said okay and went on their website to book an appointment at 11:30am. I asked if one of the two leasing agents could show me a tour right away because they said no one else who had booked an appointment. Aka they weren't busy helping anyone else. They both let me know that unless I was planning to move in 30 days they would not show me a unit. As I mentioned to them earlier, I do have a lease that ends in 3 months, but I need to move asap. I went back and forth with them. They were obviously just taking it easy since it was a Saturday or something. Because of their laziness and poor customer service I walked away. The very next place I toured (4 miles down the road and 20 minutes later) I signed a lease to move in January 10th. I appreciate your leasing agents steering me in the right direction :)

PROS -gate is nice as it provides a sense of security -does asphalt work -has a pool which is nice in the summer -gym is newly renovated -leasing office is easily accessible -parking is free -biggest PRO right here: maintenance is great; they're fast, friendly, helpful. very content with maintenance. CONS -gate has been broken at least 5 different times I have been here; cars not being able to exit because 1 gate (out of 2) is malfunctioning -does NOT notify you of said asphalt work (no letters; no signs; no emails) then charges you $111 to tow your car... -I don't go to the pool because it's dirty and I have never seen anyone clean it -never been to the gym here so can't say anything on this -leasing office doesn't keep you notified of important information like TOWING MY CAR without my knowledge -parking spaces are HIGHLY limited; don't even think about trying to park in front of where you live after 9pm. If you have the leisure time, please do your research and put in effort to find out about this place before fully committing for a 12-month lease. It can be incredibly frustrating to live here and I feel like I've aged at least 5 years. (I wrote a much longer review; but this limits the words so find me somewhere else)
