The location is everything! Communication with the office is usually pretty reliable. There are a few issues with noises echoing in the hallways, some other residents slam their doors and it the sound travels.

Great community, great scenery, enforcement of rules vary depending on which ones are findable, gates are always broken. And problem with roaches not bad if you live clean but very present around the building and in garage. Maintenance usually good but requests are closed without service for pesticide service.

When you request service online, our staff logs your apartment in on a list, along with others, to make things easier for the exterminator. To also avoid duplicate entries, this is the reason for closing the working order online. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to gaining a higher rating from you soon.
It's a calm, and quiet place to live. The apartment layout is perfect. The staff is all very friendly. The pool is beautiful.

I've lived at Avana City North (ACN) a little over 2 months and it's been good. The maintenance responds to service requests quickly, issues with rent payments are resolved with in 3 - 5 business days, and ACN are in constant communication with tenants by sending emails about updates and upcoming inspections.

Cable is included in the rent so in May we got a new cable provider and they stopped charging us for cable. So in Oct, Nov, & Dec we now had to pay the back of cable with no communication about it so now my 1300 rent was now 1600 for 1b1b 725 on the first floor at that! And tried to contact the account manager that never answer the phone.

I've been living here for a month, and so far, it's been okay. The community seems to be well-maintained with 24-hour security, but the gate is broken. I think the maintenance staff could be more attentive to pet droppings. It is a law to clean up after your pet, but some residents fail to do so. We have experienced two power outages that caused damage to our appliances, and I have reported the issue to leasing. However, no one has come to my unit yet, even though I was told that work orders would be completed within 72 hours. Based on my experience here so far, I feel that the staff is not very attentive to residents' needs. I do hope this changes soon, as I have heard that Greystar communities are known for being nice both inside and out.

Don’t move here. Gates don’t work. Car was stolen out the parking garage. Cameras didn’t work. Security wasn’t paying attention. Car was stolen at 9:44pm

Avana City North has been great so far! I’ve enjoyed the proximity of the location to my job and all the amenities they offer like WiFi and cable. I think this is a great place to call home!

This place is terrible. Moved here from out of state and didn’t have a chance to tour it before signing the lease. I’ve been here for almost 2 weeks. As soon as I get here I noticed that the heat wasn’t working (it’s December), one of the windows is taped shut at the bottom and has no weather stripping so it lets a draft in (again it’s December), there are bugs, the shower head was spraying water everywhere and the drain was clogged, the dishwasher was leaking, and the key they gave me to open the 3 gates only works at one of them. I’ve called 5 times now for resolutions to these and exactly none of them have been fixed. One maintenance guy looked at the heater one evening, said he’d come back the next day, did not do so and I haven’t heard anything since. He was so generous as to give me a nonfunctioning space heater to pass the time. The other work orders I was told are “low priority” and they’ll get to them when they get to them. The hallways and elevators are gross looking. Front office is less than helpful with anything, I’ve been directly calling their 3rd party contractors for any kind of help with maintenance resolutions. Don’t live here unless you’re looking for something on the cheaper side. Glad I signed a shorter lease

Horrible application process from the start to the end. For starters I was not able to see my apartment until the day of move in. I was told that the apartment had hardwood floors and brown cabinets. I came in almost everyday to try to see the unit or one like it. I couldn't see any units that were exactly like mines. On the day of move in I never received my welcome letter or lease. But I did receive a call 30 mins before move in and was told the apartment had carpet throughout. I was baited and switched on this unit and it's not okay! I asked for all my money back and only got my $250 administration fee. This was completely unprofessional and a bad look for Greystar properties! Let's not forget about how difficult it is to reach the office. There was no updates I had to call in multiple times for follow-up. Make sure you see your unit before you apply!! Yes I emailed the regional and community manager.

I just moved in 2 weeks ago and so far it’s been a horrible experience, especially since I moved here from out of state. The apartment was filthy, I was promised the carpet would be changed and it was only cleaned (if that). There were several repairs to be made and they haven’t been done. The appliances, including the washer/dryer, need to be replaced, they are extremely old. The leasing agent was overly friendly prior to me signing the lease, then turned rude and unprofessional after the lease signing. The community overall needs a remake and is not being taken care of by management. The corridors, stairwells, walls, elevators and parking decks are filthy. I will not be renewing my lease here!

The service is just awful. I have complained so many times. Zero satisfaction guaranteed from this community. I would not recommend anyone to live at this community. I cannot wait to move out and find a more suitable and comfortable and friendly community to be apart of.

This apartment complex is unprofessional, and I don’t feel safe, whether it’s someone breaking into my car and cameras on-site are broken so I can’t figure out who it is. Whether is the gates constantly being broken. Whether it’s maintenance taking forever to complete an order. Whether I am making a complaint about a neighbor that is never addressed or resolved. Or whether the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night and the office fails to notify the community as to what happened. Or whether it’s my apartment not having air/heat for about a month not even the second month of living here. All of these things contribute to the unprofessionalism that this establishment is constantly showing me.

The apartment complex is nice but my apartment was not move in ready or clean. There were several issues with the bathroom cabinets being destroyed, no globe around the light in the bathroom, shower rods are broken , dishwasher leaks bad, and i was told they can’t do anything to fix my issues . I’m completely appalled with this matter but I need a roof over my kids head so I’m very disturbed by all of this.
