The architecture is a classic example of the 1930's era when attention to detail and exquisite craftsmanship were the norm. The lobby itself with the Art Deco elevator doors and the hand-carved, wooden fireplace mantle still welcome people home. There is also a spectacular ballroom with crystal chandeliers that is now used as a sunroom for those residents wanting to read or play a game of pool. Just across the I-35 from Downtown San Antonio, Tobin Hill is a fast-growing section of the city filled with a curious mix of Neoclassical and Craftsman homes.
