The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Aurea Station
The property is like a landfill with trash everywhere. The maintenance staff is absolutely horrendous and they never fix anything. The apartments are outdated and raggedy with leak spots all over the ceiling. My ceiling in my bathroom is coming apart. Parking is atrocious and the leasing staff constantly changed. There’s been 4 managers come and go and I’ve been here since March 2022. Terrible.
Cost is overpriced as they charge several hidden fees and jack up their prices regularly. Whatever price you see add $200 to be safe. The complex is trashed. Like literally trash all over the place its disgusting. The management is unresponsive and never assists the tenants with maintenance or anything. SAFETY. Its a very unsafe complex with shootings every other night, fights outside in the parking lot regularly. Being outside at night is very dangerous and not recommended. If you decide to move here you will have a terrible experience. It is not worth it at all.
This complex is terrible. The office staff is unorganized, has bad communication, and has a lack of urgency to help residents. Amenities advertised you’re not actually offered. The complex has a bug infestation. Services that residents pay a monthly fee for are not consistent. The office staff always has an excuse that they don’t know how to resolve your problem. This place is unbelievably terrible.
DO NOT MOVE HERE! As soon as my boyfriend and I moved here we could tell this was gonna be crappy. The water heater didn’t work, the thermostat was broken (in the middle of winter) and they put in a washer and dryer even though we have one already. They’re still trying to charge us $50 even though we took them out and put ours in as soon as we got here. Now, they have been sitting in my kitchen waiting for them to come pick it up. It’s been days and every time I call they don’t anything but stall. Not to mention a bunch of cosmetic issues with apartment. For the move of God go next door. They know how to treat their customers and they actually care about them unlike this place.
The apartment has really went downhill, there’s trash everywhere, the pool hasn’t been open the past 2 years. Also they add unnecessary things to make your rent higher and when you address it they still will not give a refund. Don’t waste your time here!
Everything breaks in the apartment. They will not fix it. They promise but never come. The descriptions on thier website are false. Everything is not kept. The back of the complex looks terrible (oh but the "model home" and the front of the complex look good). Gate at front is broken. Rent is higher than usual. Very old apartments the renovations are terrible
I cannot say enough good things about Poli. She is truly a blessing to Aurea Station as she helped me tremendously when I moved across the states into unfamiliar territory. It was.one of the smoothest transitions I have experienced in my life. I love Aurea Station! Pricing is great and the apartment is very spacious. Having a wood burning fireplace is awesome as most apartments no longer offer fireplaces. The short commute on the Light Rail into Uptown is great I plan to be here for a long time.
Moving to here was one of the worst things I've ever done. They show me a new apartment model first, mine was not at all similar. The sinks were all peeling, damaged. They promised to fixed it... so far, 9 months later, nothing. The bathroom tile does not exist. The outside of the apartment is not cared for. Always full of trash, insects. In fact, you pay monthly for the dedetization, which is only done when you ask. The pool hasn't opened this summer, maybe next. Things break in the apartment, you ask to fix it, he doesn't fix it and send an email saying that the order was made. I can't wait to move from this place!
I absolutely love my new place!! The lights are Bluetooth! The neighbors are nice! And my apartment is even better. Raquel made the move so easy and quick! I plan on staying here for a while.
I recently moved into a beautiful apartment at Aurea Station and I absolutely love it so far. The process, from beginning to end, was seamless and fast. My leasing agent was Laura who is absolutely FANTASTIC. She's pleasant, informative, and quick at returning calls. The management company takes great care of the property and it shows. I can't remember ever being this impressed with an apartment complex. I recommend Aurea 100%. You won't regret it.

I lived in Aspen peak for 7 year the location very convenient for travel decided to transfer into a new renovated apts and I'm so enjoying the upgrades. Thanks Cortland partners and new name Aurea station . Thanks to all you ladies in the office !
I've been living at Aspen Peak for about 2 years now. I have seem a tremendous change with the new company that has taken over. Maintenance is great! They get the work done fast and right, which to me is key. Especially coming from a place that took days if not weeks to get a small repair done. I recently went into the office and met the new manager, she is so nice and friendly, which also comes to a surprise to me because normally they hide in the back office.Everyone is super helpful and friendly. The property is at a great location especially if you have to take the light rail Uptown! Needless to say I would definitely recommend living here.
I absolutely love the location of my current complex, it's 5 min away from 485 also 5-10 from South Park Mall & Pineville. The office staff is just awesome, when I was going through my chemotherapy & radiation treatments last year they were very concerned and helpful too me. The staff always asked if I was ok or needed anything. The complex has also done some upgrades and is in the process of adding more. They just re did the pool, added a dog park with more upgrades to come.
I just started not to along with Aspen Peak. I think Aspen Peak is not only an affordable place for what they have to offer, but also where the location is at is even better. A mile from the the mall, 7 minutes from downtown, and less then 500feet from the CATS line....what else could you ask for? Funny you say, because Aspen Peak gives you a BRAND NEW RENOVATED apartment, and once again for an affordable price! Love Aspen Peak!
