Property Ratings at Aster Grove
Living here has been a huge disappointment. From the very beginning, there have been constant issues that management simply ignores. The fire alarms go off nearly every day, sometimes multiple times a day, which is disruptive for those who work from home, and concerning. On top of that, certain tenants behave inappropriately and cause ongoing problems for everyone else, yet nothing is ever done about it (everyone in the building knows this couple). This community is advertised as smoke-free, but the hallways and stairwells constantly reek of weed. Management is well aware and still chooses to turn a blind eye. The noise level is also out of control—you can hear every footstep, every stomp, every move from the other units. It doesn’t feel like any soundproofing was considered when building this place. What is most troubling is the unprofessional behavior of management and staff. It is widely known that they gossip about tenants’ personal issues with other residents and even among themselves. That kind of conduct makes tenants feel disrespected and uncomfortable in what is supposed to be their home. During our initial tour, we were told a dog park was going to be built. That has yet to happen, which is disappointing for those of us with dogs who were counting on it. Parking fees are ridiculously high, and the pool is often used by people who don’t even live in the building. The apartments themselves are riddled with problems which gives us tenants clear signs that the place was rushed during construction. Overall, this complex is not even close to the “luxury living” it claims to be. With the daily disruptions, lack of accountability, and a management team more interested in gossip than solutions, renewing a lease here is out of the question.
