Property Ratings at Ashwood Valley Apartments
I lived at Ashwood Valley for one year with my toddler in a fully carpeted apartment. When I moved out, I was shocked to be charged $718 for full carpet replacement due to what they called “staining throughout.” These were small, normal marks from daily family life — nothing excessive or destructive. Despite this, no attempt was made to professionally clean the carpet first and they insisted on replacing all the carpet (which was already 4 years old), then billed me for the 3 “remaining” years of carpet life. I was told if I didn’t pay, I’d be sent to collections — an incredibly stressful threat while moving out of state. I understand landlords have policies, but this felt extremely rigid and unfair. If you’re a family or have young children, I urge you to think carefully before renting here. A small amount of normal wear could cost you hundreds of dollars — even when you leave your apartment clean and lived-in with care.
We got the bait and switch and ended up in a non-remodel. Washer puts blue goo on your clothes. Drain clogs constantly. Melissa in the front office is great, but I'd steer clear. The others won't help you. The neighbors play loud music with extra bass all the time and there's nothing you can do. The quality here is horrendous for what you pay.
Love this apartments.. I feel it's the perfect location.. Very convenient. Close to grocery stores, mall and hospital.
Beautiful 2 bed 2 bath on 2nd floor, with windows & balcony looking out into the tree tops. Beautifully landscaped with large community pool, fitness center, barbeque areas, etc. Just moved in. Lovin it!
BroKen down apt. Rotted and stained 18 year old carpet. The cheapest bathroom vanities availability in the 90's. Chipped countertops vintage stove that works intermittently. Short term rentals for foreign nationals that have taken over the property. Look elsewhere
Gym needs to be updated so does pool chairs. Lofts are nice. It wasn't expensive before now it is. Your rent is never the same price monthly they put you water and sewage with your rent and never give you s break down of if you use that amount of water. If you move in now you get the new style aprtments with wood floors better bathrooms but if you already lived her you have to pay 75 for a rehab of your apartment but it's adding on your rent monthly. Anyone can be in your gym because they don't know who comes in and out
