Excellent place to live! It’s a very nice building with 24/7 concierge and security. Absolutely love the staff and have become close friends with many of the tenants.

This place acts in highly unethical ways. I broke the lease and paid the full 2 months contractually obligated. In addition, I opted to have them clean and take my $250 deposit. Months later, they’ve handed this over to a collection agency for $170 that are unexplained except saying (falsely) that I turned apartment over a day late. I in fact handed it over a total of 3 days before what would have been covered by rent + the two months to leave early. This is after being a tenant for 7 years with no issues. Disgusting. To top this off, the Hawkins side experience has severely degraded over the years. I was in a corner unit and the noise is now awful from Thursday - Saturday and I'm not really sensitive to noise having lived in Shanghai, China for a decade.

Security and transparency with residents are taken serious at this apartment building. I appreciate that a lot because (prior to signing my lease here) many apartments in the area do not have a gated parking lot and take residents' security serious enough.

Everyone (staff and residents) have been super welcoming and helpful during my first month here. I have very much enjoyed the amenities, specificakky the pool, and love how secure the property is.
Best decision we made. After looking at SO MANY apartments and townhomes someone suggested the Ashton. It was the last place we looked at and once we walked into the building we knew we had found our home! Then we walked into the newly renovated apartment and saw the sunlit rooms and fell in love. Everyone there was spectacular in making our move from Miami so easy. The Ashton offers everything we need at our fingertips.
Best place by far to live in South End! Location can’t be beat. Units can’t be beat. Tours are unnecessary just sign the lease and thank me later.

Our only concern is how fast some people drive in the parking structure. It's literally dangerous to load/unload your vehicle. We have young children, so it's even more frightening. It's the main reason we won't be renewing our lease.

Overall I like the apartment complex, maintenance requests are dealt with quickly, the space is nice, etc. But I am absolutely moving out when my lease is up because I face the new bar Tremont by the rail trail and they blast music from their patio DJ almost every Thurs/Fri/Sat night. If you want to be serenaded to sleep hearing "to the window, to the wall, 'till the sweat drop down my balls..." then this place is perfect for you.

We moved to the Ashton after selling our house and it has been a terrific new home as we look for another house. We will be here at least a year and are enjoying the staff and all that goes with living at the Ashton Southend.

I absolutely love living at Ashton South End. The staff is always friendly and I always feel at home. They seem to really care about resident concerns and address them accordingly. Maintenance staff are always prompt and thorough. Concierge is the best. Overall very pleased!

Ive been a homeowner for over 40 years, and with that comes years of aggravating costly repairs and time-consuming appointments and trying to avoid being ripped off by unscrupulous repairmen and service providers. Homeownership is way overrated. Renting from a reputable company is a pleasure. Any concern or issue gets taken care of immediately with a simple online request. Thanks for the great service and value you offer.

If you are familiar with South End at all you know that Ashton has always been the most incredible property to live in. Not your typical apartment building, Ashton is traditional, strong and inviting. I have lived in the building previously and recently visited friends there and walking back in the building felt like home. I do not think you can say that about most properties. There is something special about Ashton. Just had to share.

Relocated from NY. The unit is massive and the neighborhood is pretty great from what i have experienced so far. Looking forward to meeting more people in the building and settling into Charlotte. Big difference from what I am used to but everyone has been nice and welcoming. I must say it is a welcomed change of pace.

I am very pleased with the entire leasing, move in and management process of my relocation. From setting up the unit, to reserving the loading dock, elevator and coordinating movers, this process was straight forward and the office team and concierge were wonderful. I am looking forward to my time here and getting to know the neighborhood.

Ive had very few maintenance issues since living at the Ashton; however, the few times that I have had to submit a service request, the maintenance staff was quick to respond and complete the request. Great staff at the Ashton!

Ashton is in the heart of Southend. Restaurants, bars, and grocery stores in a walking distance and the light rail is easily accessible as well. The people in the Ashton community are very friendly and look out for each other. I would highly recommend Ashton!
