This has been the best experience I’ve had in looking and leasing an apartment . I did everything online , got a response back the next day after my application and was able to move in that week . Artisans at the Brightleaf is a great option for renting an apartment, both for individuals and families. This apartment complex looks much better than many others in Durham. It's compact, quiet, and in an excellent location, with a wooded area and a pond nearby. Overall, the entire neighborhood is well-maintained. There's also a good elementary school close by.

I have lived at the Artisan at Brightleaf for two years and would highly recommend living here. The staff are all very nice and when I submit a maintenance request, they usually complete it the same day or the next day. Everyone of the tenants are very nice as well!

Artisan at Brightleaf is exactly what I've been looking for. I liked the apartment and the neighborhood around. The apartment has everything needed inside (Kitchen devices, AC). Nice balcony, or I would say a patio. It's a great safe neighborhood around, nice for walking. The leasing and management team is also great.

Stress-free, beautifully maintained place to live

This apartment has been a joy to live at and I have zero complaints or issues across two years of renting. Everything is well-maintained, maintenance is quick to respond to any issues, and it is in a fairly quiet area with a nice surrounding community. The leasing office and property management is easy to work with and respondent to any query. They have also not participated in the exhorbitant rental increases many other properties across the country have been doing since Covid, just a reasonable increase one would expect anywhere.

This is probably the best apartment community I have lived in. Everyone is so nice and friendly. The leasing office does a really good job hosting events and sometime using these events to donate to causes. The space is beautiful and the apartments are well mantained. One winter there was an emergency maintenance issue and I was not home. The communication about the issue was consistent and thorough. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a great community to live here.

I had a special situation and needed an apartment in a very short time. I called and the staff were very accommodating. They were very professional and kind. I was able to move in my apartment with no issue and very fast. I am grateful for the kind ladies in the front office. The leasing team is extremely helpful and maintains such good communication that my grandmother invited them to Thanksgiving this year. The A@B campus is so immaculate it makes me feel underdressed if I'm in anything but a tuxedo. The pool water is rumored to have been imported from Lake Minnetonka and is so reflective it has a PhD in philosophy. I'm pretty sure I caught the landscapers using salon-grade scissors on the grass the other day and I know for sure I saw the staff training the local birds to sing Puccini. You can't turn left into the place from the main road but that suits me fine as I've never been much of an ambiturner. I'll report back if anything goes south but currently it's been a great choice for a residence.

I lived at Brightleaf for 5 yrs and totally enjoy my time here. The front office is very nice and accommodating. The maintenance is wonderful, very friendly, knowledgeable, and they fix what they can. I would stay another 5 years if I didn't have pressing matters out of state.
