Construction has started on the adjacent lot and it is horrific. Machinery, beeping, loading, slamming, crashing. Want to sleep at 11:30pm? Earplugs. Want to sleep at 5am? Earplugs. 24/7 construction noise for the two year project and it’s becoming unbearable just a week in.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand how frustrating nearby construction noise can be. At this time, Blue Ridge is undergoing new paving for roadwork, and there is ongoing development at the former Kmart site. Fortunately, once exterior work is complete and crews move inside the building, we expect noise levels to decrease. While we don’t have control over city projects or nearby construction, you’re welcome to reach out directly to the City of Raleigh with any concerns about hours or noise levels. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to call or stop by the office if there’s anything we can do to make your experience at our community more comfortable. Thank you for your patience as the area continues to grow and improve.
My favorite thing about living here and that’s why I have stayed here for two years now is the fact that while there are a lot of students living here it is very quiet and I feel safe walking my dog at any time of the day or night. Being in a community that is safe and quiet and clean are my most important factors when consider considering a place to live. I feel with a few concerns addressed, I would continue to live here for a long time.

Arlow is a great environment to be living in. Minutes from the fairgrounds, Minutes from state, and downtown. Not only it is a great location but the staff is amazing. Easy to communicate with. They also gave us a great specials that you can’t miss out on!

I like living here over all, the walls are a bit thin (used to live under a dog and it was so loud, now i have no issues at all) and parking is a bit sparse, but overall i’ve had a great experience living here!
