I’ve loved living here. The staff are so kind and helpful, very quick to respond. It’s incredibly clean, my neighbors are nice, and I feel safe and comfortable. It’s close to downtown Monrovia which has all my favorite spots and easy access to good food in the area. Overall very happy with my experience here.

Great amenities. Ping pong table would make it perfect. Hot tub is sometimes not hot. Great and friendly response from the staff overall. Great respectful community.

The neighborhood/location of the building is good. Restaurants, hospital, freeway are close by and the area is safe. However, living here isn’t all that. The building isn’t very old but it looks very dated. The amenities are holding on for dear life, office staff is rarely at the office, something is always breaking at our apartment. We’re disappointed with Areum, it would be nice if we could transfer to a different building by graystar.

I've thoroughly enjoyed living here, it's relatively quiet, and extremely clean. All of my neighbors are super friendly and kind. I love how close I am to Old Town Monrovia and Arcadia.

I love how the serenity of this place, so far. The apartment is spacious and modern. I love that each parking level has an entry door and that there is lots of parking spaces for residents and guests. I wish that the gym were bigger, the fireplace more spacious with a modern design and that we had a rooftop (it would be killer with the Mountain View’s. More dumpsters would be nice.

Quiet, spacious apartment, friendly neighbors, great maintenance, dog friendly, 3 minute walk to great boba and ramen! Love it so far! Also, very beautiful apartment with updated appliances.

I recently stayed at this apartment and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The apartment was clean, well-furnished, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was responsive and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. I particularly enjoyed the view from the balcony, which added a nice touch to my mornings. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay!

The move in process was easy, these apartments are absolutely clean and beautiful. Vanessa in the front is so sweet and welcoming. It can be tough sometimes to reach the front office when needed though.

There are so many issues with this apartment complex, but I'll start with the pros. The apartment complex is kept fairly clean. The pros end there. Let's get into the cons. Cons: 1. NO SECURITY, OR CAMERAS. My storage unit was broken into with $3700 worth of items stolen and there's nothing I can do about it. Why? Because there's no cameras in the hallways or the garage. Why would they not install cameras by storage units? And what kind of apartment has no security measures at all? The hallways are not completely enclosed. The ends of the hallways are open to the outside, which means less overall security. 2. NOISE. You will hear everything your upstairs neighbor is doing. I hear loud stomps, pet running around, items dropping, tv bass, music, kitchen blender, etc. The ceiling/flooring are soo thin that sometimes it shakes my ceiling and the light fixtures. 3. BUGS: I thought ants were only invading my apartment but a talk with a few neighbors revealed that wasn't the case and it was an issue with a few tenants. 4: GARAGE FLAW: People can literally hop the little side railing by the parking garage gate. 5: HOMELESS PEOPLE: They sometimes occupy 5th Ave. Overall, I do not recommend this apartment complex and I cannot wait to leave.

I like living here but there are alot of things that need to be improved. The staff is great and super friendly. I love how nice and helpful they are. The apartments need security there are to many transients around here. There's too many dead plants on the and dead leaves. poop not being picked up by the grounds people. The pool heater is not always working or the hot tub. . I pay too much money to live here and it is unsafe and the ammenites don't work on a consistent basis. The landscaping looks bad cause the plants are dry or dead.

The staff here have been nothing but exceptional. They are so helpful. They are there when I need something or have a question, and they helped me with the move-in day as much as possible. They've made it an excellent transition for me moving out on my own. The residents have also been very kind and helpful. It’s very quiet here and I like that. Loving it here :)

So far so good, it’s a quiet neighborhood with friendly staff and neighbors. The location is amazing, plenty of food choices available in walking distance.

I’ve only been here a month, but I love the Areum community. This place definitely has the luxury vibe - so much better compared to other apartments we toured around San Gabriel Valley. The amenities are great and the staff is very responsive and helpful. Parking - There is a gated parking structure with parking for each level. There is plenty of parking so no need to fight for a spot. Guest parking on bottom floor. The parking structure entrance is on a side road so there is never any traffic getting In or out. Units - the units are quite spacious. I’m in the 4th floor and my unit has high ceilings and lighting everywhere. The bedroom is huge, the bathroom is huge, and the kitchen is huge. From what I can tell, every unit has a balcony - each one varies in size depending on the unit size and location. In unit laundry and AC? Check! Fully furnished kitchen? Check! Facilities - Everything is clean and well maintained. I’ve only seen one area needing maintenance it it was resolved within a couple of days. Areum is pet friendly and there is a walking path with a few grassy areas to take your doggos for a walk. Amenities - Mail room with package lockers, pool, club house (rentable), fitness center, fire pits, grill, outdoor chill area, WiFi access in common areas. Neighborhood - it’s considerably quiet considering how close Areum to the main cross street and the freeway. It feels like a safe community as well - Areum sits directly on the border of Arcadia and Monrovia. There a bunch of places to eat within a 5 minute drive, and there is a very nice West Field mall just down the street. Also, the 626 Night Market is just a few minutes away - so convenient when it’s going on! Very easy freeway access.

Privacy at its peak. well kept facility. very up-scale. great management team/staff. pay no attention to any negative reviews. those are people who are problems obviously every where they have lived
Areum management is up to par. They are on top of things when it comes to residential needs. I had to change my lock because of unfortunate circumstances and the maintenance was able to do it in same hour I called. Complaints are handled well and they are always accommodating to residents needs. I would recommend living in this apartment.
Overall good. No situation is ever perfect. Good outweigh the bad.
I have been very pleased with the staff during my three years living here, everyone is very professional and pleasant to deal with.
I love living at areum. We fell in love the minute we had our first tour and put in our application that same day. Since then we been living here for 8 months and have nothing but nice things to say, staff is friendly, dog friendly place, beautiful apt designs, and so much more. Its very private and I feel safe here.
