They confirmed I was still eligible to receive a refund of the holding fee. After replying that I would like a refund, they stopped replying and answering phone calls.

This place is absolutely terrible. I have tried to contact the office for the past two months with no response. Calls go to voicemail, emails go to dead accounts, even tried scheduling a tour to get a response from someone with no luck. Halls are dirty as hell, Elevators never work, and packages stolen from my door. Please do not move here. Even if I want to walk in and talk to them I can't because they are 'appointment only'. Also, parking and services are far above average costs in the area which is crazy given the quality provided. Greystar has completed ruined this building.

I am not the one to generally write reviews but after facing this terrible situation, I am compelled to write this. All they care about is your money. The apartment I toured wasn't ready for move-in when they handed over the keys. I don't mean a bit of dust, blinds were broken, switches give you a shock, doors didn't shut and lock completely due to years of just tacking on paint, water was available only in the bath tub, heater didn't work. As a person in a new city, I didn't feel safe at all. On top of everything, the management said I had to submit a 'maintenance request' to get all of the above fixed. After I would submit a request they would be able to get to it after their 4 pages of backlog maintenance requests and quarterly maintenance of the building was over which would be 40 days after move-ihn. Management is terrible and does not care even after multiple requests. I had to contact senior management and break out of my lease. There was no compensation for all the inconvenience caused. TERRIBLE PLACE TO BE. Prefer any other option you have over this place!

Place is a mess, trashy is an understatement. Parking is a joke. Monthly utilities and rent is way over priced for a property of this grade.

Yes, never again will live here with the experience I have had since I move in. Management suck and it changes every 3 months and one knows what’s going on and they all seems to blame on the management before them.

You're the best! We really appreciate the positive review.
I’m not at all interested in calling the apartment complex because they have numerous emails from me already about the situation I moved into this apartment complex with high expectations, drawn in by the promising amenities like an excellent gym and yoga studio. However, my experience has been a mixed bag. The gym and yoga studio are great, but issues like the non-functional bike room, lack of temperature control, and insufficient sanitization are concerns, especially given the importance of hygiene in shared spaces. The laundry room is another sore point; half the machines don't work, and I've learned from other residents about fire incidents linked to it. Not something you want to discover after moving in. The dog park, though advertised as a fetch community, falls short in terms of cleanliness. It's not properly sanitized, and the pervasive smell of urine is off-putting. While valet trash is a convenience, I've consistently noticed a full trash can right outside the building on multiple occasions. It raises questions about the efficiency of their services. Communication with the management has been challenging, with unanswered emails, leaving me feeling unheard regarding these issues. In conclusion, if you're considering this complex, be aware of the pros and cons. It's crucial to thoroughly inspect the facilities and weigh the conveniences against the drawbacks before making a decision.

Many thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'm sorry to hear you had a negative experience, and will use your input as an opportunity for all of us at Archer Tower to improve.
For how nice the apartments are it is amazing how completely ineffectual the staff that manage this building are at providing basic “amenities”. And by “amenities” I mean functioning elevators and water. Good luck if you decide to move into an apartment higher than the 5th floor. The elevators are constantly out of order or left in freight mode by office staff after they’ve left for the day. Over the course of this past winter we lost water what felt like about a dozen times, sometimes for as long as 12 hours. Most often if “scheduled” maintenance was being performed residents where notified after water had already been shut off and more often then not shut offs ran hours over their estimated times.

¡Hola! ¡Muchas gracias por tus amables palabras! ¡Trabajamos muy duro para superar las expectativas y esperamos que continúe en su cargo aquí en Archer Towers! Hello! Thank you so very much for your kind words! We work very had to beat expectations and we look forward to your continued tenure here at Archer Towers!
Archer Tower is not a great place to live. There are some good amenities, but rent is too high for the lack of security and the terrible maintenance. Homeless people manage to get into our building all the time, there are constant domestic disputes (screaming, yelling) from other tenants, and maintenance is extremely unprofessional. Broken gym equipment, among other things broken in the building at any time, from doors not working, to door handles, laundry, whatever. They also force your hand to renew your lease a few months early to keep the same monthly rate, otherwise when your lease is actually up they increase your rent. Would not recommend moving in here. Seemed like the perfect place to live at first, and the rooftop view is what sold us, but we feel like we’ve been swindled with all the good sign up bonuses.

Currently don’t move in here, every day or week something is broken when it comes to using the exits or elevators. Even the yoga studio they have isn’t clean and the tv doesn’t work up there plus you can control the temperature in room.

Great location and building going to waste due to poor management. Lots of staff turnover leading to impersonal interactions and lack of confidence in issues being resolved. No emergency maintenance, so if something goes wrong after hours you are SOL, but the maintenance staff is also extremely undermanned so issues arising during business hours are also not addressed in a timely manner.

We appreciate all reviews, and appreciate you giving us the chance to improve by providing us with this feedback. It is true that the staff here at Archer Tower is very new, but we are all doing our best to learn our new job duties so that we can better serve our residents. We also know that the recent discovery of our phone issues has been frustrating, however we are working diligently to resolve this issue, and hope to have it fixed very soon. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
They are a mess. We’re half way through our lease and if they didn’t make it impossible to break (you have to pay it out) we would be GONE. It is a nightmare. Maintenance requests go ignored for months, the office is rude when you call to ask for help, the laundry is always dirty or broken, neighbors are so loud you will hear everything. Our hallway smells like trash and weed all day every day. It is embarrassing to have anyone come over. Moving here is one of my biggest regrets. Seriously - do not consider it. There are so many lovely small complexes around Cap Hill. Do not pick Archer Tower.

User, Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. We appreciate all feedback. We do have a new community manager and a new assistant manager in place at Archer Tower who are dedicated to improving all aspects of the living experience at Archer, for all residents. To address your issues, we are happy to discuss your lease and go over it with you. Additionally, we would love to discuss what maintenance issues that you have or reported that have not been taken care of, this is a serious issue we would love to know more about. Regarding the Laundry rooms, we do have brand new machines that will be installed on 4/3 as our delivery was delayed unfortunately. Around that same period of time we will be rolling out a new wash and fold service that will take all the work of you doing your own laundry, out of your hands. We are excited for that! We also have just signed a contract with Fikes who will come into each floor and install machines to help combat smell. Please contact the office directly to set up a call or in person meeting with one of our new managers to discuss these and any additional issues that you may have. Thank you,
This would be a great building if you were employed by the city of Denver fire department because you could respond to the nearly weekly calls to get someone out who is stuck in the Archer Tower elevators. In the 18+ months I've been at the building there's been maybe two consecutive weeks at any point where they are fully functioning. The elevators are important because this building has ~24 units per floor for 14 floors and the poorly maintained laundry rooms are in the basement and in the pent house. You'll need the elevators to move from one to another when the nightmare laundry app for your phone tells you that there are 5 open washers, but fails to tell you that 4 of them are broken. Don't worry though, you can always wash your clothes in the tub on the days that the running water works or doesn't come out of the tap brown. If these problems drive you crazy enough to try to contact management - you can count on two things; First, that your neighbors will undoubtedly hear the clacking of your keyboard through the paper thin walls, floors, and ceilings. Second, that your response will go entirely ignored through whatever channel you attempt. Seriously though. Do not be fooled by the recently redecorated lobby or the penthouse. This is a bad building, poorly managed.

User, Thank you for taking the time to issue this review and voice your concerns. To address the issues mentioned, we have just completed a multi week project to repair all elevators. We apologize for the inconvenience as one at a time the elevator being serviced was down for that period of time. Now that all three are fully repaired, we should not see any issues with them moving forward, if something does happen that concerns you please contact the management office. They will address your concern immediately. Additionally, we are scheduled to have all laundry machines in both penthouse and basement replaced by 4/3. We do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We are also excited to announce the new wash and fold service we soon will roll out to take the work of washing your clothes, out of your hands. Please contact the community manager directly to address any other concerns you may have. Thank you,
This apartment complex isn't what I would call "home". For one, the floors on every level are hardwood resulting in hearing every footstep and dogs running around throughout the day. Community washers and dryers are also constantly in need of repair/leaking and often times leave clothes stained. Secondly, if it weren't for complaints having to be submitted to the office no maintenance would get done. For example the whole property wreaks of dog urine during the summer months due to the astroturf put in the property. Another prime example is that for nearly 2 months dried sewage had been left around my paid parking spot until I had to complain twice that it was unacceptable. Poor paint jobs and rearranging furniture are also used as a remodeling excuse, don't let them fool you. Lastly, after Local by Laramar took over the property the office has been less than helpful. We are now required to drop rent off at the office during office hours, much to my surprise nobody is in the office often times throughout the day. Which seems suspiciously like a trap to have people inadvertently miss paying rent for a situation out of their control (workers not being in the office during office hours). I cannot recommend living here. Other than the gym and the location it is my opinion that this place is run poorly and the only people to blame are the ones sitting the in the offices making the rules.

We’re so sorry to hear about your negative experience. Our residents are our top priority, and we want to try to make this better. We appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. Please email me archertoweram@laramarapts.com at your convenience.
I was wondering why this apartment complex had such high ratings on this website and then realized all the reviews are 3+ years old. Here’s the new situation now that it’s been under new management. One elevator is ALWAYS broken. Of the other two, normally one is functioning and the either is either reserved, stuck with someone in it, or being used to cart maintenance people around. Given this fact, you’d think maintenance issues would get fixed quickly. However this is not the case. Each maintenance request I’ve put in has taken at-least 10 days to be fulfilled. I know of one apartment that is leaking water from under the stove. On top of this hazard, the washer upstairs is constantly spewing water into a 7 foot diameter pool outside of the laundry room. Hoping nothing electrical sparks. The dryers are mostly functional, but if you run into one not working absolutely no refunds. The air conditioner in the upstairs gym is broken and has been for months, rarely ever used by residents because of this. The building is not ADA accessible as the staff has disabled the handicap button probably in order to save them the cost on upping security. Parking spots are available for $170+, but you will have to wait atleast a few months to be able to use and space is limited to one spot per apartment, and only one car can be registered to each spot. Air conditioning is a big bonus, however about half don’t work, so consider that risk. The second upstairs gym is amazing and I love the roof. There’s pros and cons, but please consider this list and be realistic when making your choice.

I lived at Archer Towers for 10 months and absolutely loved it. It's basically impossible to find anything under $1000 in Denver anymore, so paying a little bit extra for the incredible amenities that Archer provides is absolutely worth it. The staff was wonderful- always very quick to respond to maintenance requests and happy to accept the multiple packages I received weekly. The building itself has such a rich history (Eleanor Roosevelt lived there!), and I loved the modern reboot they did on the place. Archer is a slam dunk, you'll love it there!
I moved into The Archer (then called the Mezzo) almost four years ago when I moved to Denver with my girlfriend. We still currently live in the same unit we first moved in to. The Archer offers a great location in Capitol Hill close to dozens of restaurants, bars and music venues all of which we enjoy on a regular basis. It is only about a ten minute walk from The Archer to the top of the 16th street mall and lower downtown from there. About the building. I live on the third floor which offers views of the city while still being close to the ground floor and garage parking. The common areas and workout room were recently remodeled. I love the eclectic style that they have chosen (think hip bohemian.) The lobby has lots of visually appealing wall art and style that is a pleasant first sight when coming home every day. Upstairs, there is a state of the art fitness room with all types of equipment that you would find in a well stocked gym (several treadmills, bikes, elliptical, weight machines, free weights, bench press etc.) There is a rooftop patio with grills. Newly added is a large social area with several separate hangout zones, two pool tables, tvs etc. I feel that my rent has stayed a fair rate the whole time that we have been here, and the staff is great as well. Maintenence is generally responded to quickly. If you are new to Denver or even just looking to liven up your lifestyle The Archer is a great place to be.
I moved into Archer a couple of months ago and the reason to pick Archer Tower was that they allowed me to put my apartment on Airbnb. I love this because it is otherwise a waste of money to pay rent when I am traveling. The location and quality of Archer Tower is so good that it attracts great guests from Airbnb and I end up making extra money :) I have spoken with a few other residents who also use Pillow to host on Airbnb and they love the service and extra $$!! The staff on-site is super helpful and take care of residents and guests alike. I am surely staying at Archer for all my time in Denver. Thanks :)
If you're looking for a fun, friendly, and overall fantastic building to live in, the Archer Tower Apartments is certainly worth looking in to. The fire pit and roof top views are one of a kind. There are frequent residential events hosted by the building. They offer roof top BBQs (brand new), and a state of the art gym with huge windows to see the mountains while you work out. The management staff is reliable, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to help. Katie, and all of the ladies at the Archer tower make living here a pleasure. Maintenance is awesome and on top of requests! Daily access to the coffee machine is a huge plus in my book too! I love it here; will definitely renew.
I just moved into Archer Towers upon completion of the remodel. The bark park is nice for early morning, late night, or lazy days for a quick bathroom break or play date for your dog, only issue is people are lazy and don't clean up all of the time. I have yet to use the Penthouse patio and gym to their full potential, but they both have great views and equipment. The lounge is great multiple TV's, couches, pool tables, and refrigerators. Talk about convenience no more worrying about bring a cooler and ice to the party. The ice machine down the hall helps for those mixed drinks and the fridges take care of keeping the beers and mixers cold between drinks. The worse part is that the Penthouse has been closed multiple times for a few things, but they do their best to avoid inconvenience and only close it for improvement reasons.
I lived in the Mezzo Apartments from 2013-2015 and had the most amazing experience while doing so. I renewed my lease on two different occasions and would have stayed even longer if I wasn't planning to buy property. The entire staff at the Mezzo is great, from the property managers to mechanics everyone has a wonderful attitude. What I enjoyed about the mezzo was 1) location- in the heart of Capitol Hill with amazing restaurants/bars in every direction 2) atmosphere - everyone living at the Mezzo is friendly and there is a community feel in the building 3) The apartments are sound proof, the views are amazing, and the rooftop is the cherry on top. Couldn't have asked for a better place to live!

Thank you for your kind review we take pride in keeping our residents happy!! :)
I love where I live. I moved to Denver a year and a half ago desiring to live in the Capitol Hill area. From the minute I was greeted at the spacious business office to viewing my efficiency apartment I knew I was where I belonged. The apartments had recently been renovated-new stove, new dishwasher, new bathroom, new carpet and paint. I've never been to a place that made such good use of space. As you enter there is a door on the right that leads to a large storage area with built in shelves. On your left as you walk in is a closet also with shelves and a full size bathroom beyond. The kitchen has a rolling island with shelves facing the kitchen with room for bar stools on the other side. They continue to update the entire building with new carpet and paint and modern TV area in main lobby. The most amazing thing was the first week I moved in a guard saw someone trying to steal my bike which was chained onto an enclosed patio. He stopped him and put my bike in the security area where bikes are kept! This apartment is within walking distance of the Capitol of Denver with bars, restaurants parks, etc. nearby. I can get anywhere quickly whether by my long board or my car. For entertaining there is a rooftop with grill and chairs Perfect!
