Williamsburg combines colonial heritage with contemporary living, offering residents both historic charm and modern conveniences. As home to the College of William & Mary, this Virginia city spans 9 square miles and features diverse housing options, from colonial-style homes near Duke of Gloucester Street to newer communities throughout the area. Currently, rental prices range from $1,042 for studios to $2,388 for four-bedroom homes, with one-bedroom units averaging $1,575 monthly. While some rental categories have shown modest increases between 0.2% to 5.3% year-over-year, Williamsburg's housing costs remain competitive compared to larger Virginia metropolitan areas.
The city extends beyond its renowned Colonial Williamsburg district, offering residents extensive parks and recreation areas. Located between the James and York Rivers, Williamsburg provides opportunities for outdoor activities, while Merchants Square features local shops and restaurants.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Arbors at Towne Park
I'm thrilled with my experience at The Arbors at Towne Park so far! From the very beginning, Ursula was incredibly helpful and informative during the initial process. On move-in day, she ensured everything went smoothly. Since moving in, the positive experiences have continued. Pat is very friendly, and Richard was highly responsive to a maintenance request I submitted. Furthermore, Alvin does a fantastic job keeping the building clean and well-maintained. The office staff, overall, is very helpful, and the residents I've met have all been great neighbors. I love the hotel-entry style of the building; I feel very safe and comfortable in my new two-bedroom apartment. Thank you again to Ursula, Pat, Richard, and Alvin for all that you do to make this a great place to live!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience at The Arbors at Towne Park! We're delighted to hear that Ursula, Pat, Richard, and Alvin have made your move-in and living experience so positive. It's great to know you feel safe and comfortable in your new apartment home. We appreciate having you as part of our community!
I just signed a new lease at The Arbors at Towne Park and I am extremely happy with both the management, the facility and the people that I have met so far. I know I will make many new friends here. I would recommend this senior living facility to active seniors who are looking for a minders facility with many amenities and community activities. This is a wonderful place to call home!
My parents moved into the Arbors at Towne Park, in Williamsburg, a little over a year ago. It is an amazing independent senior apartment community! The office staff, Ursula and Pat, are so helpful and accommodating. We had a family emergency and Pat was so caring and went above and beyond, she was phenomenal. They truly treat you like family here! All the apartments are well designed and have nice patios that overlook the beautiful, well-kept grounds. My dad specifically wanted to move to the location, because of the nice, peaceful walking areas and surroundings. Everything is new, but if a maintenance call or work is needed, Richard and Alvin are awesome! My parents had one minor issue and Richard was so helpful and knowledgeable. He really respected my parents and their property. He is so friendly and always ready to assist! There are so many amenities located on-site for folks to enjoy; like a gym, hair salon, media room, game room, dog park, dog washing station and probably a lot I don't even know about! The activities are endless! I've seen postings and was told about bingo, game nights, book clubs, knit & crochet clubs, potluck meals, holiday parties and cookouts. The residents have a blast here and all the neighbors are so friendly and really look out for each other! There is even a bus that transports residents to planned events, stores and restaurants. The residents always stay busy and engaged. The management and staff go above and beyond at this place and the people here are wonderful! I would definitely recommend!
