Arbor Crossing at Buck Lake

I’ve stayed here over 2years, the management people are very polite. I barely have any problems, the walls are perfect and also I will be staying here with good and cheap rent.

I lived at Arbor Crossing @ Buck Lake for a year and it was the best experience ever! If I wasn’t relocating to Boca Raton, I would have stayed here forever lol. It’s definitely the best apartment complex and company that I have rented from. They have unmatched customer service, maintenance team, and apartments . The staff at Buck Lake are extremely personable which creates a community and makes you love where you live. I’m thankful that I was able to live in such a great place! There’s no other apartment complex that compares (trust me, I’ll lived in other places before Arbor Crossing). It’s worth every dollar and I highly recommend anyone looking for a place in Tallahassee to move here! Arbor Crossing @ Buck Lake is the best apartment complex in Tallahassee! I have been with Arbor Crossing since it first opened and I'm still here because the staff are amazing the maintenance guys are the best and you cant beat the location. Close to everything. No where is perfect but they are pretty close.

At first impression this place is nice. Apartments are a good size, the amenities are beautiful and all the staff are very friendly. However, if you live on the second or third floor this place is very noisy. I am not talking about the typical noises you would expect to hear while living in an apartment. The floors were constructed very poorly and you can hear everything your downstairs neighbor does. Music, television, conversations etc. it all comes through the floors. I am not talking about inconsiderate neighbors, just standard every day living noise. Ground floor apartments might be ok, I can't speak to that. Maybe the garage units are better because a garage is underneath you. But if you get a second of third floor unit beware of the noise. There are a lot of units becoming available, please be careful! I would not rent here again.

I had a pleasure of visiting this complex while in town for a week visiting a friend. The front office staff and maintenance staff made me feel at home even though I was just visiting. They always greeted me with a smile and said good morning or have a nice day. Everything my friend told me about this place is true. It really makes you feel at home. I will refer friends who are looking for a place to call home. Became a visitor and left as family.

When I was searching for a place for my daughter and I we literally looked at almost every upper end apartment complex out there. We were looking for safety, convenience, cleanliness, and a professional environment. Hands down... Arbor Crossing is the best. It is aesthetically beautiful and has wonderful amenities including a state of the art fitness club, beautiful kitchens/bathrooms, and a very relaxing clubhouse. The pool area you just have to see for yourself. We are very happy with the security and constant updates via mobile text. Any common areas receiving preventative maintenance and even severe weather conditions at times are often sent out to the community for advanced awareness . The property is clean and grounds are kept extremely well. We are also very happy with the construction of the units as our energy bill is very low. Lastly, the staff are very friendly and always offer a smile and helping hand with any of our needs. When a package arrives, we also receive a personal mobile notification text from them directly that it is ready for pickup. Ms. Amber and her staff are exceptional when it comes to property management and I am glad we found them. Keep up the good work Arbor Crossing!

I made the decision to move into an apartment after living in a house for 5 years. After shopping around the recently built apartments in Tallahassee I came across Arbor Crossing at Buck Lake. My experience, from the first moment I walked into the clubhouse to 6 months of living at the property, is why I am writing this review. The staff is exceptional, the property is beautiful, and the day-to-day experience is what a home should be. Very impressed with Arbor Crossing.

The apartments are very beautiful, but in my honest opinion they were rushed. The walls are thin, I can hear every move my neighbors make.

These apartments are beautiful, yes, but this property has some major flaws. First, the entrance off of Mahan and the turns to actually enter the apartment portion of the property are very dangerous. The turns are narrow and sooner or later there is going to be an accident between two cars approaching each other. There is an over-sized sign actually blocking some of the view of any oncoming traffic as you enter from Mahan. Second, there are more tenant/guest cars than there is actual parking spaces. Third, there is virtually no sound-proofing between floors and ceilings. You can hear every move your neighbors make or every thump of a neighbors' TV/stereo. Some of that can also be blamed on rude neighbors but the Property owner is at fault for not taking necessary measures to avoid sound issues (skipping steps for the sake of saving $$?) Clearly there was no testing done as to sound disturbances as each building was finished.
