Alvista Trailside is a great place to live. We have lived here for almost 5 years, and anytime we needed something done, it has always been done in a timely manner. The staff are very nice to work with also.
In my opinion, maintenance is terrible, the apartment has several things wrong and they need to be improved but maintenance does not coordinate each area, for example I have 3 months without being able to open a door from the bedroom that connects to the balcony because the staff that repairs windows and doors that has gone are useless and inept, they even left a hole in a totally different door causing a bad appearance, I renewed the contract 4 months ago and they did not change or wash the carpet even though I asked for it more than 4 times, each thing that needs to be repaired, I have put in the repair request more than twice or they do not do it. This is a total disappointment and if I am not going somewhere else it is because if I break the contract they charge me a penalty. This complex is disappointing

Moving from across the country was a huge task but once I secured my apartment is was easy. I was able to push my move in date a little further out to accolade the time it would take me to travel here and move in was quick and easy. Maintenance has been wonderful getting little things that weren’t quite perfect fixed in a timely manner and work very hard to get outside contractors in quickly for issues they can’t resolve. I feel very safe in this community which is not something I can say for all previous living quarters. Additionally, pricing was incredibly fair for the floor plan I leased and the location is very convenient.

A nice quiet peaceful place to live with an adjoining park, dog park, bike path and grills. Neighbors are usually friendly and pleasant. The Property Manager is very helpful and easy to chat with about any problems or concerns. Overall, a very nice, comfortable place to live.

Five star property management and great community to live in. Their princess style bathtubs are the greatest and the amenity package is very competitive. It was incredibly quiet living here in the neighborhood and people are pretty respectful of that. I love the valet trash service. The remodeled apartment was very nice.

Where to start? Overall, good luck getting the office to answer the phone. It will likely take 5+ attempts to get anyone to answer. Beyond that: 1. When I moved into these apartments, it took management about a month and a half to get me a key that worked for my mailbox. I had moved in from out of state, so I was expecting important documents in the mail that I was unable to access because management couldn't give me a key. 2. I moved in in July, which gets pretty warm in Colorado. My air conditioning was broken for 6 weeks, and my apartment was 95 degrees for this time. Management was unwilling to help, as they would have someone come out and look at it and "fix it", when it would break again just hours after they left. They stated that, as I had just gotten service, I was moved back to the bottom of the queue. 3. I lived on the top floor, and there was a sawing noise in my attic. When recorded and shown to management, they stated it was "horrifying." They wouldn't send anyone out to look at it until they were reminded multiple times over months. They stated that it was a squirrel problem, and did nothing to address the problem through the time that I moved out. 4. I left for a trip for a week. When I came back, my keys no longer worked on my apartment. It took multiple hours to get someone out to help me. After the lock was replaced, I was scolded by management, because their key no longer worked. 5. Moving out is a waking nightmare. I thought that when I gave management my forwarding address 3 times, that perhaps they would forward my mail. Not only did they not forward my mail, they mailed my moving out statement to the old address that I no longer lived at. When I did get my statement, there was a three hundred dollar charge for carpet cleaning. When I called to dispute the charges (as I had photos of the carpet when I moved out showing there was not staining), someone in Accounts Receivable informed me that the apartment complex is not required to clean their units before renting them out, and any charges to clean the apartment will be charged back to the previous tenant. Bonus: The facilities are not in good shape - the concrete stairs up to my apartment were crumbling apart. It was reported multiple times, nothing was done to address it. The units themselves are fine to live in, but the management is a mess. These folks are a nightmare to work with - unresponsive, unhelpful, and incompetent. Please live literally anywhere else, it can't be worse.

The community is fine. I like the amenities here but I don’t like how my apartment was not move-in ready and has taken a while to fix everything. I pay too much money to have a patio that is dry-rotting and the AC not working.

I love the mountain view I have. I really like the storage in the unit under the stairs and I also really love the fireplace touch. The community is super quiet and I never have to remind my neighbors to be respectful. The community has a lot of doggy owners but yet the property is kept up to date on appearance and dogs are also respectful do not bark too much. I’m excited to live somewhere new.

My apartment floods every time it rains, has had dirty water from the toilet flood out of the bottom, and had a leak in the laundry room that lasted for 4 weeks. I have submitted more than 10 maintenance requests in the 3 months I've lived here and if they are addressed, it's done so after several weeks and failed attempts to contact people. The office has straight up refused to comply with Colorado housing laws and refuses to fix any of the problems. They're incredibly rude. Also the parking lot is filled with potholes and the pool is a sick shade of green.

Do no move here! You have to pay for parking and there is never any. Cars constantly get towed. Never had working air conditioning for 2 years. Nothing is ever fixed correctly. Pipes burst and flooding constantly. Save yourself the headache.

This is an ok place if you really need a place to live right away. It's an adequate in between apartment but would definitely not recommend being a long term resident. There's so many issues that I've had to deal with and recently it doesn't even matter if there's a maintenance request because it'll take months to repair if you don't constantly bother the front office.

Over pay for apartments that are rotting away and in very poor shape. Maintenance sucks because there is only one man to fix everything on the property, the office ladies lie about everything when you ask questions. And the company that owns the apartments could careless if your apartment is falling apart or not.

Moving into my apartment was disappointing due to the amount of damage not fixed in my unit before moving in and all the potholes damaging my car on the road. None of the car ports are well lit and my car could easily get stolen in the dark.

Apartments are run down and not maintained. Maintenance requests are never taken care of in one visit. It takes them multiple tries and hours of wasting your time before they actually contract someone in to fix the issue. Pet stations are never stocked with waste bags which leads to pet waste all over the place. Tons of cars with expired tags in the lot. This place does not care at all.

No snow removal, icy lot for 4 months of the year, slow maintenance and one very rude maintenance man, cheap appliances, awful energy efficiency. The lockers for packages always break or are overfilled and packages just get left outside to be stolen. Terrible community all around.

Would not recommend. Ugly apartments that’s cost wayyyyyy too much and they don’t even let you see it before you move in. They show you a different unit that looks way different and claim yours looks like that. Just to move into a nasty in cleaned apartment even thought they force you to pay a move out clean yet don’t even get it cleaned

We do have our maintenance team pick up grounds every morning as well as a PetScoop company who picks up dog poop 3 times a week. I moved here 3yrs ago because the rent was reasonable; no longer true. There are much newer and updated places for the same rent. Parking is terrible.

The on-site staff is very courteous and professional. Someone is always in the office during business hours to answer questions and provide guidance. They work hard and are always on the move.

They locked the apartment WAY (lease ends on the 15th) before our lease date, with my stuff inside the apartment. No communication, no parking, everything painted over, cheap.

Stay away like the plague, the property is garbage, litter everywhere, no place to park, terrible customer service and a maintenance team that actively works to get their tenants towed from parking spots without signs and that need to be repainted to even be up to code
