Alta Clara is a great place to live. Everyone is so polite and friendly. The apartment is beautiful and the grounds are well kept. It’s surprisingly quiet at all times. We especially enjoy the gym and the nearby walking trails and lack of traffic.

We are doing a short-term rental at Alta Clara (we sold our home and are in the process of buying another). Since the first time we visited them through moving in and living here for almost 3 months thus far they leasing management team has been beyond helpful and responsive. Alta Clara at the Fells is the definition of community and quality. The apartments alone, phenomenal having all major amenities. Such as washer, dryer, dishwasher, sink disposal, microwave and refrigerator included in units. Having the peace of mind of any maintenance. Having parking available and a 24 hour gym. Access to a mailroom for packages. A petspa on the premises. It wasn’t that hard of a decision, when making a choice of residence.

Alta Clara is by far the best residential complex I have lived in thus far. From the clean buildings, all the way to the staff and maintenance response times. The staff are always professional, and quick to answer any questions or concerns. It is a quite, safe environment. I truly have not one complaint. They do a great job at hosting a variety of different activities for all age groups. Everyone in the community is friendly and respectful. Also location is fantastic. 10 minute drive to downtown Stoneham and super markets. Hiking trail located behind the apartment complex is clean and the perfect outdoor activity. Overall, great place to live. Highly recommend!

We are peaceful people, but in this community, it feels like we end up being the ones who have to tolerate everything. Our neighbors frequently assemble furniture, and the downstairs neighbor often bangs on their ceiling with tools in response. They have even written long letters and left them on our door, insisting that we are the ones making the noise. Management claims that the noise could not possibly travel through us to the downstairs unit, yet they still ask us to reduce noise levels, seemingly applying rules based on who complains the loudest. From the very first day we moved in, we noticed that the footsteps here are extremely loud due to the wooden structure, making us uncomfortable. Initially, we thought it was normal and tried to adjust our expectations. However, the downstairs neighbor has repeatedly filed complaints with management about our footsteps, even though we only walk during the daytime and wear slippers to minimize noise. This has been a very unpleasant experience, as it feels like the rules are enforced according to who makes the biggest fuss rather than being applied consistently.

I've lived at Alta Clara for just about 3 years and still loving every moment. Julieta, Daniel, & Donny put so much pride into running the community. All the buildings and common areas are always so clean and the apartments are beautiful as well. I really enjoy calling Alta Clara my home!

Closeness to Boston, very well run and very clean facility , many amenities and great trails for hiking , biking and perfect trails for our active dog

Alta Clara is the best kept secret! I just love the quiet beauty of the lush greenery of the surrounding trees at The Fells, which provides privacy. I love the modern spacious apartments with high ceilings, and lots of sunshine, providing light through the windows! I also love my neighbors in the complex who always greet you with a smile, friendliness, and support when needed!

Living experience has been very good so far. The only reason for not being "excellent" is because: (1) there are no trash and recycling chutes in each building; (2) there is a very limited number of garages; (3) each building has a package room but not an automated package locker like other apartment complexes; (4) sound insulation between neighbors could be better. Other nice-to-have amenities include onsite professional dry cleaning pickup but that is not high on the wish list as other items mentioned above.

Alta Clara is home. Without any of the worries that come with owning your home. property is beautiful it is so well maintained in and out. Coffee and out door fire pit is such a great bonus pet friendly and people friendly.

I have lived at Alta Clars for just about 2 years now. All the staff work together as a great team and always have the residents best intrests in mind. When the weather is warmer it is so refreshing to take a walk in the fells or a dip in the pool after work in the evenings. I love how the property is close to the city but situated far enough away from major roadways and developments that it is a peaceful place to call home

I recently stayed here with a friend and not only were the staff and maintenance team great but they went above and beyond. The grounds were amazing and the small events they made me consider renting

We needed a temporary place to live while our renovations were being completed and were referred to Alta Clara at the Fells and had a great 4 month experience. Both the office staff and maintenance team were excellent. We enjoyed our time at Alta Clara for sure and certainly appreciated this very well maintained property.
