I have been here for over a year. I had nothing but good experience even with the changes made from management. The management team has been great, as well as the maintenance team.

Do not recommend. Residents do not pick up after their dogs. Every grassy area is filled with dog waste. The dog park is poorly maintained, just now satisfied with the overall experience.

Leasing office is hard to get ahold of, but they are nice. The upkeep is lacking, may not be renewing my lease. The amenities are nice though. The location is ideal.
For the most part, this complex is quiet besides a pair of constantly fighting and noisy neighbors in my building. You can take walks during the night and early morning hours(safe) and the grounds are always well-kempt. Maintenance requests are prompt. The only thing I wish is that the $25 valet trash and fetch service were an option and not an obligation because I don't use either service and they never come by my door anyway.
We’ve had a great time and can’t wait to renew! Large spacious apartments, safe location, easy parking and visitor spaces. Our only complaint is the trash pickup, but even then we like it here so much it isn’t that bad.
Maintenance is excellent, they always respond to my request same day or next day. Leasing office staff could be a bit better with responding to things.
Visitor parking sucks. The apartments are nice and everyone that lives here is friendly. I haven’t had any interaction with the office staff so I can’t really give a opinion there. There are resident events 3-4x a month which is good.

Nothing negative to say about living here. The gym is well taken care of as well as everything else pretty much. The leasing staff is pretty easy to communicate with as well
Alexan has truly become our sanctuary, a place we can call home and be part of a welcoming community. Moreover, we are deeply appreciative of the dedicated maintenance team, whose diligent efforts ensure our living spaces are well-maintained and comfortable. So far my experience has been great. Building is clean inside and out. All of my maintenance requests get resolved same day or within 24 hours. I love how many events they have for the residents.

Love it here. Great location if you want to live close to Charlotte and avoid the high rent in the city. Very clean, and modern. Amenities are amazing got a big gym, clean pool, and great parking. Also close to main highway. 1bd 1ba pricing very affordable for Charlotte area. Spent a lot of time looking at apartments, and this place was the best option.

The apartment complex is situated in a convenient location, with easy access to shopping centers, restaurants, and major highways. The surrounding area feels safe and well-maintained, making it ideal for families and young professionals alike. The apartment units themselves are modern and spacious, with high-quality finishes and appliances. I particularly appreciate the attention to detail in the design, from the sleek countertops to the ample storage space.
So far has been the past community I’ve lived in this far. Buildings are always nice and clean. The amenities are awesome. Highly recommended
My leasing agent was amazing. She answered MANY phone calls leading up to my move in date, which was helpful. This community is in a great location and secluded from the road. I don’t feel that my safety is at risk being here. The apartment is spacious, modern, and amenities are great. Walls are a little thin but I’ve noticed a lot of newer apartments are like that.
The apartment community is nice. There are a lot of amenities available to tenants, and most all residents that I have encountered are kind, quiet, and respectful. This is a great apartment community for those looking for quiet comfort.
I’ve been at Alexan Research Park now for about 2 months. So far everything has been going good. The amenities are great and I love my apartment.

I absolutely love this complex. The staff is friendly and helpful especially Ms.Amanda, and it’s always clean and I love the activities they have throughout every month for the complex.
It’s been an overall iffy experience. I have noisy neighbors that I’ve reported to leasing at least 4-5 times and nothing gets done. My neighbors are so noisy that it’s caused physical damage to my apartment. Reached out to leasing, never heard any updates on that. I do understand that these things take time, but communication is key and I feel it is a bit lacking in that department. Other than that, they have great community events and a beautiful complex. Parking in some areas is a pain too.
I’ve been here going on six months and to be completely transparent it’s feels like a college campus. I mean granted (it’s no different than a lot of apartments these days) but the rules , the parking definitely gives college dorm room vibes.
I’ve lived here less than a year and have had several problems with my apartment, from my AC being broke twice for multiple days each time, to fire alarms going off all throughout the night because of faulty detectors, to hearing every noise from the apartment above us including their conversations. The trash valet doesn’t come half the month yet we are still expected to pay it and also have received a $50 fine for leaving the bin in front of the apt one time “past the allotted time” would not recommend this place as the cheap building materials and issues do not justify the rent cost.
Need to work on the dog poop everywhere. The residents are not pick up after their dogs. People are throwing trash in the parking lot and food in the grass area.
I love the community and the amenities but the parking here sucks and I don’t like the fact that I can’t have decor in front of my door. Besides that it is a great place to live!

New buildings, very good amenities. Close to stores and Restaurants. Walkable distance to Wells Fargo CIC building. It would have been nice if they have children’s park

So far my experience here has been great. I appreciate the responsiveness of the staff, especially maintenance. The building amenities seem to always be clean. One critique would be more visitors parking for guests. Also The parking spaces in some areas are a little tight leaving opportunities for someone to hit your car with their door. Overall not much negative feedback and I’m happy with my apartment. The pictures online are very accurate as well. I love it here.

Lots of great amenities. The gym is amazing. Location is very convenient. I do see problems with the grounds being properly maintained. Trash area overrun with boxes and broken furniture. So many don't pick up after dogs. Individuals playing there own loud music in gym. Bathroom trashed. So the biggest issue is how the residents treat the place. Management does have rules in place but no one here to enforce. I hope things improve.

Love the office staff, maintenance crew and my gorgeous apartment. Five stars. Neighbors are noisy, smoking, walking their dogs on the two feet of grass around the buildings and not picking up. Negative 1 star These types of abusive neighbors require extra surveillance cameras and patrols. Pity this place is near perfect if folks were more respectful.

Great experience so far very nice and quiet neighborhood.. Really enjoy the gym an pool area. Highly recommended. Also enjoy the get togethers the office has!

I really love my apartment. The layout and the natural lighting during the day. What I don’t like is parking can be very minimum sometimes especially if I get home late. Also bike share program that was listed as an amenity is not an amenity here.

The apartment is beautiful and the amenities are great! The location is a 5-10 minute drive to all essentials/necessities. Nice quiet community.

It has been great living here. No concerns. There are events every month. Amenities are great. The neighbors in the building are very friendly. That makes it good to live here.

I love everything about my apartment - especially the view of the woods! The apartment floor plan suits my needs and there is a lot of storage, too. Love all the amenities of the apartment and the community! The office and maintenance staff are professional, helpful, and friendly.

Love the apartment amenities, close to local grocery stores and staff is very good and friendly, they act immediately to any service request.
I love the vibe of the interior of the apartment. It is definitely luxurious with the spacious layout and finishing touches like the wine fridge. The amenities are the cherry on top. I couldn’t be happier.
