I've lived here for just about a year and a half, and have had great experiences with all aspects of management thus far. The front office has always been respectful and communicative when presenting an issue, and maintenance has been swift and efficient with any work orders we've ever placed. My only complaint is that the amenities are occasionally out of order due to maintenance (I.e. pool, gym) which is sometimes inconvenient, but I get that things happen.

Living in this community has been a largely positive experience. The staff is responsive and friendly, and maintenance requests are usually handled in a timely manner. This is the best apartment complex we’ve ever lived in. Everything works as it’s supposed to, and even the minor inconveniences (like a drawer that kept popping open) get remedied promptly. Only complaint is we can hear a lot of noise in the hallways especially on weekends or evenings. Other than that it’s fantastic here!

Staff here are fantastic—Daniel, Heidi, Arielle, Valeria, Miguel and Carlos make every interaction prompt, professional and friendly, truly five-star. Unfortunately, the property itself trails far behind. Dog waste lingered in a stairwell for?two?months, bag stations are often empty, and just seven pool chairs serve 400 residents. The garage gate fails so often residents get trapped until after?8?a.m., then it’s left open all day, while only one camera watches the garage despite break-ins. Rusting rails, fences and doors signal neglect, and renewals force loyal tenants to haggle for incentives new renters get automatically—all while comparable apartments nearby cost about?25?% less. Great staff can’t offset chronic maintenance lapses, sparse security and premium pricing. Modest fixes—more seating, a new gate, better cameras, fresh paint and upfront renewal incentives—could restore the promised “luxury.”

We will address the dog waste bags being out with our maintenance team and determine if we need to order more to meet demand. If you ever see there’s ever an issue in a common area, such as pet waste, we encourage residents to submit a work order through the Activate Home app so it can be addressed promptly. This helps ensure the property remains clean and comfortable for everyone. We have ordered replacement slings for the broken pool chairs, which aren’t expected until mid-June due to supply issues. We also acknowledge the challenges with the garage gate. Unfortunately, repeated damage caused by vehicle impacts has affected both the gate and sensor systems. We are actively working on a more sustainable solution to improve reliability. Repairs to railings, doors and painting are currently in the bidding phase, and we have already begun planning the necessary updates. We appreciate your patience and understanding on all these issues. Please know that we are working hard to make a better community for all residents. Maintenance service is lacking as not quick to replace broken appliances and does arrive upon scheduled request. concrete apartments are a downside as the flooring is not available to see before move in (tons of cracks and discolored areas darker than gray paint. Garage entering and leaving is dangerous as it is narrow and cars can collide as residents speed around the corners. There is a spot in the hallways near the dog walk turf area that is always full of water after it rains. Flex pay was introduced and taken away the next month.

The community is peaceful and my move in experience was straightforward. My neighbors are respectful and most times I have no issues with parking. The parking garage can be stressful situation at times due to non EV’s parking in the charging spots or someone speeding down/up the ramps. There aren’t any events during the times I am home so I miss out on everything. I would love for events to take place earlier in the day on weekends or earlier in the week after working hours.

Living at the Alexa Garza Ranch thus far has been an exceptional experience. The management team is outstanding, always responsive, and truly dedicated to ensuring residents have the best living experience. The amenities here are pretty great offering everything from a fitness center to well maintained common areas. One of the highlights for me is the pool—it's always clean, well-maintained, and provides a perfect spot to relax or socialize. I receive no signal in my own apartment, I have to use wifi. My car got broken into within 1 month of moving in. I like the amenities and location. Staff is friendly. Unhelpful when it came to 5 resident cars being broken into.

The noise and courtesy of the neighbors is beyond unacceptable. The common area grill are damaged and people leave them in disgusting condition.

The property is amazing

It is a really nice place. Enjoying our stay here. The amenities are great and there is plenty of greenery which I love the most. The apartment is very spacious and the appliances are of very good quality. Also. the apartment staff is super nice and helpful.

Living

I enjoy living at Alexan Garza Ranch but my only issue is the constant construction around the complex. Other than that, very quiet and friendly place to call home.

Read before leasing!

Definitely not a good management, rude and liars, property is 2 years old but with tons of issues starting by water pipes. Over the past 15months of my lease at least 20 times the water was shut off from 9/10am - 6pm leaving residents hanging… also the walls and floors are so thin you can hear the neighbors cough… as well as people on top of you specially women in heels, social areas are nice but have to limit you time there or else staff will kick you out! The parking garage also a big issue, the spaces are to small and people be taking corners like Tokyo drift… careless… and dont be surprised if you wake up and you car is either broken into, vandalized, or just simply hit a run.. in other terms, save yourself money, time, and headaches before you deal with these people :) Thank me later

Do Not Move Here

Management problems continue. As a resident I am looking to move and would not mover here as the management does not listen to tenant concerns. In my opinion, this is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in.

Poor Management

I’ve lived at Alexan Garza Ranch now for 8.5 months during which time I’ve had many concerns however here are just a few of my main complaints with the community. Unfortunately it begins and ends in the office, Esther the property manager to be exact. I’ve expressed on a few occasions concerns with security once directly related to an employee (employee directed a random guest to another apartment when I didn’t answer my door, saying he’s probably here). Esther thought it appropriate to laugh at me on the phone only to proceed to hang up while I was talking. Others in the complex have also mentioned her unprofessionalism and blatant disregard for tact and decorum. Going further it seems she’s never in the office, the staff gets little to no information in turn creating complications answering resident questions and concerns. (It’s always “let me text Esther, I’ll get back to you.” Sometimes they actually do). Esther again on multiple occasions has been condescending and in my opinion rude. There are residents that have been BLOCKED on social media (Instagram) because of negative reviews on the complex in a way to control what the public sees. The other concerns I mentioned at the beginning of this review have all been cosmetic and since this is a new community I expect growing pains. At this time however, I can say that I will not be releasing in December and I will be encouraging through my media platforms that no one lease here due to extremely poor resident service, lack of communication and utter disrespect. On a positive note: Ashley, Tory, Heidi, Chris, Drue, and Fabio are all amazing and AGR is lucky to have them.
