I’ve been living at Alexan Florence for about a year, and it’s been a wonderful experience. The apartments are modern and spacious, and the amenities like the gym and pool are top-notch. The management team is responsive and friendly. One of my favorite aspects is the community – there are lots of dogs around to pet, which is great since I don’t have my own. The location is also perfect, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. Highly recommend Alexan Florence for anyone looking for a comfortable and pet-friendly place to live in Alexandria.

Management turnover every couple months, a crap ton of robberies in the building as security is non existent, and they escalate rates 15% above the market rate. It’s great amenities and the maintenance staff are a bunch of rockstars, but the appliances are cheap, service sucks and the building is basically a pile of toothpicks waiting to blow over.

It’s our second year and we absolutely love our apartment at Alexan Florence. Within two blocks of two grocery stores and the best water front parks in Alexandria, the location is unbeatable. The staff is amazing and the amenities are top notch.

It's great here but there are a lot of dogs which means a lot of noise and sometimes it can get a bit dirty outside of the apartment. Maintenance is usually good enough it's not that much of a concern. Also, internet goes out often after midnight. If you do flexible work I'd keep that in mind.

Wish it was a little closer to the metro but overall very nice apartments with good quality appliances. Pool gets a little crowded in the summer. Feel like there could be a better system for that.

I absolutely love living here. There's never any drama. Things are kept shipshape and the apartments are gorgeous. The areas fantastic for walkability and the amenities are out of this world! I really like being a member of the Alexan Florence community. The people at the concierge, or at the leasing office are always open to accomodate my needs. I like the amenities, the Pendleton terrace, the great room and the pool. It is a beautiful, and comfortable place.

Terrific apartment complex overall. Respectful residents, great leasing staff, terrific long-term concierges, and courteous and responsive maintenance staff. Beautiful facilities. Pet-friendly. Tons of natural light and huge windows in my apartment. One of the pricier buildings in the area but you get what you pay for.

I've been living here about a year. It's been a very good experience, from the outstanding staff to the beautiful surroundings and amenities. I like getting coffee in the morning and attending the resident events. Most of the residents are respectful. I have a loud person who has been living above me for about 2 weeks, hope it's temporary.

We have felt as though we are on vacation for the last year. This place is awesome!the front desk and management are always accommodating. Any issues are quickly attended. We feel safe- very security oriented.

It's a great great place to live! Compared to other places in town, it's a little more expensive (unfortunately) but the amenities, the staff and the location are great! Super close to all of the shops, the river parks and the free shuttle bus to the Braddock Metro station. They also keep the building and amenity spaces very clean, which is appreciated!
