The downtown heart of Escondido, Central Escondido, is an artistic blend of historic and new. It’s the location of the city’s oldest park, Grape Day Park, and the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. The brick-paved sidewalks that line Grand Avenue run past a variety of boutiques, gift shops, and bakeries. Maple Street Plaza, located off Grand Avenue, is an esplanade that hosts events. Other great destinations in Central Escondido include the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum and the Escondido History Center, which features a historic Victorian farmhouse complete with weathervane.
Central Escondido extends from Centre City Parkway east to North Juniper Street. You’ll discover ample apartment communities in the neighborhood, along with several bus stops for car-free commutes. The Escondido Transit Center includes the Sprinter light rail as well as bus service for those traveling to nearby cities, including Oceanside, Encinitas, and Carlsbad.

The overall experience of living at Alcove apartments has been a great one. The resident office employees are awesome, office manager Will is an awesome guy! They are very helpful. Neighborhood is quiet and everyone is respectful. Would definitely recommend moving here !

My partner and I were on a time crunch looking for something in the area. Tina, in the office, was so accommodating, helped us get moved into our new unit so quickly. She really pulled through and made the process seamless. During our walk through I noticed there was an issue with our washer completing a load. I called the front and Javier from maintenance came within the hour to troubleshoot and it was fixed by the time I got back from running errands. Overall, the staff is amazing. Parking can be difficult to come by but that seems to be common everywhere out here. We’ve been here for one month and are loving it so far ??

Alcove has an amazing staff and community overall. Tina, and the manager and assistant managers are always so helpful and charismatic and willing to assist all needs. The complex is typically quiet too which is pleasant.

The management at Alcove is the best. The manager Will is so friendly and easy to talk to and to approach about issues. Tina in the office is super friendly too and personable. She is attentive to everyone’s needs. And Javier in maintenance has been excellent at fixing anything I’ve needed done, and he does a thorough job.

So far my experience at Alcove has been great! It was my girlfriend and I's first time moving into an apartment together and it was overall a very smooth process. From touring to applying to moving in, Tina really helped through it all. She is so friendly and welcoming so it made us very comfortable with asking any questions. The communication was also very good through it all. There were a couple small speed bumps along the way in regards to paperwork, but it wasn't hard to deal with at all because of the transparency and assistance that Tina provided. We are a few weeks into our move in now and the place is so amazing! We have the A5 layout and it is so spacious for 2 people. Honestly the perfect amount of space for our needs at least. We haven't gotten a chance to use the amenities yet (gym, rec center, pool, etc.), but they definitely all look very nice and we'll kept! Only complaint I have is the lack of an elevator with us being on the 3rd floor. It made moving in a bit of a challenge. We definitely got a good workout from that though haha. Overall we couldn't be happier with our first apartment move in experience!

By far the most comfortable complex that I’ve ever lived. State of the art. The staff is always friendly, kind and patient.
We have been extremely pleased with our move. Our layout and kitchen is beautiful and I enjoy being home after work. I love all the amenities, management, and food truck that comes every Monday. We really feel at home here.
The Alcove team is super friendly & caring. The property is kept up very well. Its always being cleaned (every inch of the property) from the landscape to the stair cases to the clubhouse. I seldom need something fixed because everything is so modern. If I do ever call maintenance they are there to take care of it. Couldnt be happier with the team at Alcove & my apartment.

Finding affordable housing in San Diego is very difficult. Alcove Apartments provides great modern living with tons of amenities at a great price. The office staff is top notch, and I love the neighborhood.

This is actually the best complex in all of Escondido. The floor plans are laid out to maximize space and the aesthetics of the complex is luxurious. Overall, it makes you feel relaxed when you come home.

I was amazed at how beautiful the property was when I visited. Nice and clean and very inviting. The pool area is absolutely amazing with stadium size TV and the two professional style grills to use. Ameerah is the best leasing agent I have ever met in my life!! She is very down to earth and such a nice person to talk with. She made sure I knew EVERYTHING there is to know about the property and all the amenities it has to offer. She has the best smile, personality and positive attitude about life. The most amazing thing is she knows the residents by their names. That's awesome. I would recommend anyone to come see the property at Alcove in Escondido, CA
