Great place to live

Highly recommend!
This was my first apartment on my own and I absolutely loved it! It was very quiet and all the neighbors were friendly. I only needed maintenance to come out once for a blind that broke and they were there the next day! I personally spoke to Molly the most and she never made me feel like i was bugging her. The community is amazing! I’m only moving because I’m interested in a townhome & they don’t offer those :(

Great Community
Albany Landings is a great place to live if you are looking for a place that is quiet, well maintained, and has excellent service. The administrative and maintenance staff are excellent, and are very responsive with any needs you may have while living at Albany Landings. You may be able to find a community that is only slightly cheaper in this area of Columbus, but the value proposition at Albany Landings is higher than these other places when considering the quality of the staff and the amenities. I would certainly put Albany Landings at the top of your list when looking at places to live in Northeast Columbus!

A Wonderful Community!
I’m very happy I chose Albany Landings when I relocated to Ohio. The landscaping and apartment homes are very well maintained and look great. Not to mention, every staff member I’ve interacted with has been very pleasant and helpful. I even got a couple free Bundt cakes just for being a resident, not to mention the move in gifts. You can tell they want their residents to be happy and that goes a long way with me! Move here ASAP!

Honestly, I’ve been here since March of 2020 and so far they have been amazing. SO thoughtful and helpful. They even have an amazing Starbucks coffee bar for the residents.

Beautiful and Peaceful Apartment
I recently moved into this apartment and I am so thankful to the staff at Albany Landings. Molly and Amanda are very quick to respond to my calls and gets back to me when I leave a voice message. The apartment looks nice and I love the appliances provided by the apartment. The rooms are spacious enough and not to talk ot their big walk in closet in the master bedroom. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great neighborhood and apartment to call it a home.

Quiet Area + Great Service!
Albany Landings is the oldest community in the "new" New Albany/Westerville area yet is only 10 years old! Super quiet area with very friendly community! Lot's of sidewalks/trails throughout this and surrounding neighborhoods. Many families live here and lots of dogs! Apartments are super spacious and well-priced! Also the staff is super responsive, kind, and helpful! Shout out to @Molly and @Amanda for making the entire touring process, move-in, and immediate home repairs super smooth! - Jacob + Marla

Wonderful place to live
I have lived here for less than a month, but I can say that I have been more than satisfied with this apartment complex. The management team ensures that your move-in experience goes smoothly and has been extremely helpful with any requests. Feels like home!!!
From the moment Champion took over the property, they showed us the improvements they wanted to do and asked the community our thoughts. Amazing place
Albany landings is a great place to live! The staff is amazing and they go above and beyond to ensure your happy! The resident events are a very nice bonus! Great Place to Live
I’ve been here for over a month now and this place is great! Maintenance is on top of everything which is very important to me. The staff is amazing and always very helpful. Love it!!
From our first walk-through with Jen, my boyfriend and I knew that we loved the complex and amenities. No one rushed us through the process, but were there for any questions and calls that we made through the application process. Great staff! We have only had one maintenance issue over a month living there with our garbage disposal, we put in a request to have fixed and was done so by the end of the day. All of the staff does an amazing job, no questions asked when we need assistance or have questions. The raffles and events that Champion hosts are a huge bonus and make us feel like they really care. I have always felt safe in the area and love that the location is close to so much shopping, restaurants and fun!

Great place to live
From the first interaction with Jen me and my boyfriend knew this would be the place for us. She made us feel so welcome and seemed as if she really cared about us living there. I have to say this is the best apartment complex I have lived at. Super clean, the maintenance team is awesome. We put a request in Monday night and it was done Tuesday afternoon. Very efficient and very attentive. We would recommend anyone I know to move here.

Great Experience!
From start to finish, the whole process completely exceeded my expectations. I met with Molly, she did an amazing job of explaining everything and answering all of my questions. This was the first time I had to rent an apartment in many years, and she made it as easy as possible for me. The amenities were exactly everything I was looking for in a complex and more; the smart home technology is so convenient and easy to use as well. Upon moving in, I began to smell pet urine and immediately reported it to the office, and Jen and Molly had someone come out to assess it and ultimately replace the carpet in the entire apartment. No hassle!!! The entire office staff (Molly, Jen, & Sara) are extremely friendly and professional and do a phenomenal job of making you feel like they care about your situation, and will help you out as best as they can. The management company is in the middle of renovating their clubhouse and pool deck area and making other improvements to the property that I am very much looking forward to. I highly recommend this property, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend choosing to rent with Champion Properties, they are doing it the right way!

Disappointed
My significant other and I were very excited about moving into this location. Our first place as a family with our beautiful 5 month old daughter. It’s a great secluded area with beautiful floor plans BUT my experience thus far isn’t great. May 2nd... 11 days after move in I found a dead mouse in my dishwasher.. throughout the month there’s been multiple mice and a crap ton of droppings in my apartment (mostly kitchen. All areas of kitchen. Including inside oven/stovetop). Pest control came and set traps in the middle of May because “that should resolve the problem”. Here it is June 2nd and once again.. I look around and my kitchen is infested with mouse droppings. I requested a months free rent spread out through the remainder of my lease for the inconvenience of having to constantly sanitize my kitchen and kitchenware as well as not being able to utilize all of my units amenities and it was declined because they responded and “resolved” the issue in an ample amount of time. I’m so over this and the initial excitement that I felt when first moving has completely died. I’m sure if I weren’t living with mice and/or was compensated for the time I’ve lived with the mice I would have given a higher rating.

No complaints
I lived in the complex for 2 years July 2014-July 2016. All in all I can say I was totally happy with the complex and so glad I rented here. The area is great. Close to Easton and not too far from Short North/Downtown and you get all the amenities of New Albany (stores, shops, parks, library.) Maintenance was always done swiftly, office staff was nice and accommodating. Diverse community with great neighbors. There is a ton of poop but there are a ton of dogs, which as a dog owner is ok with me LOL. The trash does tend to overflow sometimes. Pool is a little small so it feels crowded during busy times. There's a great trail that runs through the apartments and the neighboring apartments and continues for about a mile on the main street that is just beautiful. Always felt safe. These are good priced apartments for nice area and nice amenities.

Horrible Management and High Turnover Rate
The only reason I am giving one star is because you cannot post without doing so. Easily the WORST place I have ever lived. Very cheaply made. I moved out last December and disputed the almost $600 we were charged for nail holes and not cleaning the carpet. How excessive! I finally got a notice saying the charges were valid and called to TRY to pay. I say TRY because it seems nobody knows who takes care of past tenants trying to pay. I first called the office and they gave me a number to call which ended up being the emergency maintenance line. They told me I needed to speak with the office and I let them know that's who gave me their number. Then they tried to give me the number to the office and I told them that was who I called. They told me to hang on and that I was being transferred to the office. Then the office gave me a cell phone number to a very rude man. He said he was in his car and would have someone call me at the number I called from. I said that was not acceptable because I needed to pay right away and wasn't going to wait for a call back that I'm sure would never come. He snapped at me and said "Well I can't help you." I said "well then I'll talk to your manager. What is your name?" He said "I don't have a manager." I asked his name again and he hung up on me. I then called the office back and they said the corporate manager was in the office and they would have her call me by 3pm to settle my account. I also wrote a contact request on the website and the turn over department emailed me. They had someone call me and I told her the situation and she told me that I was the one who called the wrong number. WOAHH so now this is my fault that I called the wrong number when you're incompetent employees couldn't give me one simple phone number? She then informed me they weren't HER employees because she was in the turnover department. I said look you work for the company so this should be important for you to address! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. And I am going to keep calling until I get in touch with a manager because this is unacceptable.

High electric bills
The residential manager is shady and pressurizes you to sign the lease quickly by giving you one day to sign up for the special. The manager only cares about their commission. The special price you save is nothing compared to the loss you endure during your tenure at this community. Let me explain. After research, I found out Ardent uses AP & L which purchases electricity from AEP and sells it to you at a higher rate. AP & L and Ardent have the same owner. You are responsible for paying your part of community electricity expenses. The higher electric bill offsets the low rent price, so your tricked into signing the lease without realizing that your saving nothing! My relative who happens to live at an Ardent community receives an average $120 electric bill from AP & L. My monthly AEP bill averages around $60-70. The month I moved into a community (I made sure it wasn't AP & L), which uses AEP, I received a $20 bill. I have seen people who move in Ardent communities receive $100 bills the first week they move in. Before considering a community, make sure it's not Ardent of Lifestyle communities. They trick potential residents by giving you one day specials, and force you to sign the lease. When you sign the lease, they don't care about you and quote the lease agreement (which they will never tell you about).

Beautiful, Quiet, Cozy
My wife and I have loved our stay at Albany Landings for the past few months. The staff has undergone some changes but are always personable, professional and ready to help. We have had a few maintenance requests put in and they always respond within 24 hours, same day on some requests. We love seeing the wildlife stroll through the community. This really a place you can call home!

Very clean appearance and nice neighborhood!
These apartments are amazing! Great location to start. Thats always important. It's very close to 270 but far enough away to give you the space and nature you want. The appearance of the apartments themselves is spectacular. Very neat and clean neighborhood with plenty of parking. I have never had any issues. On the inside, the apartments are very up to date and modern and the carpet is very clean and seemed to never have been walked on before. Very open and great design. I have yet to find anything negative about this place. The office managers are wonderful and very people friendly! Overall a great place to call home.
