I could write a story on why not to live here but just don’t.
This apartment is ok. Cons: The grounds are an eye sore. For being a new building it already looks run down. They need to do some serious power washing of the building and pavement, lay some fake grass or mulch so it’s not just mud everywhere when you step outside. No one picks up after their dogs. Cheapest appliances: I think they have the first ever made dishwasher which is beyond loud and cheap stackable washer and dryer. Neighbors: zero respect for each other. If you want peace and quiet move elsewhere because the walls are made of paper. Parking garage: they don’t have parking passes and people just tailgate in. Zero security so it’s very sketchy. Pros: gym is nice and they do a good job of cleaning with covid. There’s always workers in the hall cleaning. Maintenance is friendly and quick to respond to issues. Overall way better apartments available in Charlotte for a similar price.

Pros: Convenient to NoDa (walk/scooter) and to uptown via CATS station across the street. Building is new and well appointed with all the amenities you would expect. Pool, resident lounge, onsite gym, etc. Decent value compared to comparable properties. Cons: Neighborhood is a work in progress and building is surrounded with light industry and vacant lots. 25th street bridge is under construction which will be beautiful when completed, but for now there is construction noise during the week. Minor complaints are the outdoor grills are electric instead of gas, so little better than using an indoor air-fryer. Haven’t been able to take full advantage of the amenities yet due to Covid, but not the fault of the property. Gym hours and other features are limited during pandemic.

I found about this complex from a resident who moved in when it first opened and after comparing it to other complexes in different neighborhoods, the location/amenities/price of Warp + Weft were unmatched. Great proximity to the LYNX/breweries/Optimist Hall(!!!)/grocery/and everything in NoDa. I moved in Oct and the staff helped me find the exact unit that fit my needs in terms of views/cost. Highly recommend to those moving to the area

good view of the city and the sky. spending a good amount of time indoors recently makes it hard on everyone, but the people and the residents are always so cheerful and nice. nice poolside area and the events are cool too. i like the resident lounge although we cant stay in there too long for obvious reasons. 10/10

My experience was amazing. Me and my boyfriend moved to Charlotte a few months ago and were looking for apartments. When we came across Alta Warp & Weft we had nothing but the best service. Ramatu gave me a tour of the community. They had great amenities such as a pool that looks like it belongs in a 5 star hotel, an incredible gym, resident lounge, and our personal favorite, the community GARDEN. Plus, so much more. On another day, my boyfriend came to tour with Shelsea due to our deferring work schedules and was equally wowed. The rooms are huge and up to date, I have closets that’s as spacious as the bedroom with a washer and dryer in it. The overall community is friendly and peaceful. The Manager Alicia has also been very accommodating. She gave us updates from the application process and what was needed whenever we called with a question in our transition to becoming permanent residents here. Truthfully, the entire staff here work very well together to make us feel at home even through the journey of applying. My boyfriend and I are so happy to come home to our new apartment and to know that there is a staff willing to go above and beyond at any time is refreshing.

Just wanna start off by saying this is the place to live! You have the light rail right across the street, optimist hall down the street and multiple breweries, walking distance from our apartment. It Is the Ideal location!! I moved in June and so far i have been very happy with my apartment and the community, i know initially moving in was middle of covid but they have made it a safe place to live. The staff is wonderful and always very attentive and always happy to help! If you're looking for an apartment in the heart of Noda, super close to EVERYTHING, don't look any further!!!

I'm a new resident and happy with my experience so far. Any issues or concerns have been addressed by management, the leasing agents, and maintenance right away. Shelsea, Alicia and Ramatu in the office have been extremely welcoming and helpful. The complex is well kept and cleaned everyday and then neighbors are friendly :)

Moved here 4 months ago. So far so great. The whole management team (Tobi, Mark, Ariana & Harvey) constantly making sure that all tenants feel home at ALTA WARP+WEFT. All application processing stages was super smooth. The management team is very responsive & caring by any means. Great amenities. Great location. Minutes away from Uptown without craziness of Uptown.

The apartments have so many different layouts all with a beautiful modern finish and brand new appliances. It’s in the perfect location of Charlotte and heart of NoDa. There are so many great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, retail shops and even it’s own stop on the light rail. NoDa has so much history and this apartment takes full advantage of it. I have beautiful view of downtown Charlotte from my balcony and at night with the lights from the skyline it becomes breathtaking. But while the apartment itself is great, the community that it is building is even better. The leasing office is run by some the most wholesome and genuine people I have ever met. They all make you feel at home everyday as well as host events to meet all of the occupants. We have had a multiple bike rides around NoDa, a silent disco, pool party, art shows, and game nights in the clubhouse! I am proud to live here and with Charlotte continuing to grow this apartment will continue to thrive. You will not regrets living here in the slightest. -Hakiym Roach

Alta Warp & Weft is a great place to live! I’ve been here since it opened and the staff is amazing. Maintenance handles work orders immediately Andy neighbors are so friendly. The events are super fun and they have so many. If you’re new to Charlotte this is a great place to live, make friends and it’s conveniently located to Noda, Plaza Midwood, Uptown & Midtown.

It's easy to have option paralysis in the Charlotte apartment scene. But after looking non-stop, I decided on Warp & Weft because it hits each point: Great location for train access, highest access, and in between my favorite neighborhoods, really nice amenities (that landscaped courtyard, y'all), and the quality of the staff all pushed it over the top. Ariana is incredible, she made everything easy and seamless. Since moving in I've loved having multiple lounges to work from home in, a private outdoor space to play football or run with my dog, and an arcade room to feel nostalgia to boot! Pricing is also solid given the area. Love it!
