Extending north from the Navy Yard between Capitol Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, Capitol Riverfront is one of DC's fastest-growing neighborhoods. The popular Anacostia Riverwalk Trail begins in the neighborhood, near the intersection of 11th Street and M Street. Everyone is very kind and the staff is great. The reason I took off one star is because maintenance does not respond quickly. We put in a request nearly a week ago, spoke to the front desk about it, and even still no one has come.

So far, so good. However, I am still waiting for my toilet to be fixed after having maintenance put a temporary part 6 days ago. Additionally, my microwave turns on but fails to heat any food. I have already submitted two requests about this, but I have received no updates.

An elevator has been out of service for multiple months. Multiple maintenance requests for our unit have been acknowledged but not corrected despite the repairs being simple (e.g., replacing damaged blinds). Maintenance cut a hole in the wall of our unit multiple weeks ago to correct a HVAC issue in another unit and have made no attempt to patch the hole.

Moving in has been an ok process. Our leasing agent has not been tremendously responsive. We signed our lease the morning we got the keys despite applying 2 months prior. We still don't have a garage clicker, mail keys, or an assigned parking spot. But the building and staff have been wonderful. I know we are going to love it here once everything gets settled.

Easy move in. Clean apartment. Friendly staff. Parking garage is very convenient. Gym is large with a ton of equipment. Elevators are always fixed in a timely manner. I definitely am enjoying my first month.

It has been a great several months. No pests and front desk people are great. Amenities are very good as well - pool chairs are limited and I wish pool was on the roof but still quite nice.

Absolutely love living here! The apartments are spacious and newly renovated with lots of closet space. The amenities are great and well maintained. The staff is amazing and is very professional yet friendly (especially Tish and Brittany at the front desk). Will be sad moving out of the building when that time eventually comes.

The building is older, but a good value for the price. The staff is really great and the residents don't cause any problems. The building feels safe overall and is much better than some of the other buildings in the area. Super pet friendly!

I just moved in earlier this year, and so far it has been great. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and very responsive. The amenities are well kept, neat, and functional.

I’m going on year three and living in 909 has been a very pleasant experience. With the crime rate rising in The District of Columbia I do wish that Bozzuto would consider some type of security like the other buildings in the neighborhood to KEEP THEIR RESIDENTS SAFE.

909 is a great building to live in! It is clear this building cares about community. The amenities are great, the events are great, but most importantly 909 does a great job of making this feel like home. It made the transition to moving to a new city so much easier. I love our apartment.

The building has been really great for the time I've been here for. It has the largest floor plan space than the rest of the other available apartments in the neighborhood at competitive price. The only issue I've had were clogged drains and the laundry machine. Maintenance in this build is really quick to address these issues within a day after submitting a request. Overall, it's been a great experience for me so far.

What makes 909 so amazing is the concierge - they immediately know your name and face and greet you with a smile no matter the hour. I’ve never had such nice people to say hi to first thing everyday and last thing at night :)

I have lived at 909 for 3 years now and love it. My unit is comfortable and has enough room for my fiancée, I and our cat. Having lived elsewhere in DC this is easily the best place I have rented from.

I have loved my experience so far at 909. I have had no major issues thus far. My only complaint is that a few of the concierge staff are not helpful.
