Feel at home in The Moose Mansion, a secluded log cabin retreat in Bragg Creek, offering a private hot tub, wood fireplace, a full gym, and games rooms, all set against breathtaking mountain and forest views just 50 minutes from Calgary. This authentic log cabin boasts vaulted ceilings, natural wood throughout, and stunning mountain and forest views from its large deck. The main floor includes a king-size master suite with a private En-suite, a full kitchen, a dining area, and a living room with a decorative fireplace. Upstairs, two bunk rooms each accommodate four guests on queen-size bunks. The basement features a queen bedroom with a crib, a commercial gym, and a games room. Amenities include a private hot tub on the deck with mountain views, an indoor wood-burning fireplace, an outdoor fire pit, a commercial gym with a squat rack, bench, weights, and elliptical, a games room with ping pong, air hockey, and foosball, a kids' play area with a train table and Lego table, a BBQ, a large deck, an in-suite washer and dryer, and fast Wi-Fi. Free parking is available on site. Bragg Creek, a rural mountain community, is situated on the edge of Kananaskis Country, offering access to world-class hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife. The charming village, just a 15-minute drive away, features local restaurants, boutique shops, and artisan galleries. The Elbow Falls Provincial Recreation Area is a 20-minute drive, the West Bragg Creek trail network is a 10-minute drive, and Kananaskis Country is a 20-minute drive. Downtown Calgary is 50 minutes away, Banff National Park is 1 hour and 20 minutes away, and Nakiska Ski Resort is a 45-minute drive. Calgary International Airport is a 1-hour drive. This log cabin has been a loved family retreat for over 15 years. While clean and well-maintained, it is not brand new; some carpets show wear and are being updated. Natural imperfections in the log wood are part of its authentic character. Wildlife is present in this mountain setting, so be mindful and respectful. The wood-burning fireplace and fire pit are available for guest use, and guests must be comfortable operating them safely. The commercial gym includes heavy equipment, and children must be supervised at all times in the gym. This is a rural property, and a car is required for all activities and dining. This is a smoke-free and party-free home. Smoking or vaping of any kind is prohibited inside the home, including near open doors or windows, with a breach fee of $1,000 plus odor removal and remediation costs. Unauthorized parties or events may result in a $400 admin fee up to $1,000+ if security or eviction is required. Illegal drugs or illegal drug activity are not permitted anywhere on the property, with an evidence or violation fee of $1,000 plus remediation, testing, extra cleaning, and damages. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 7 AM, and outdoor noise must be kept low at all times. Unauthorized overnight guests incur a $75 per person, per night fee. Pets must be approved in writing before booking and are subject to a pet fee; unauthorized pets may result in a $400 admin fee, plus additional cleaning, damages, allergen or odor remediation, and any costs incurred. Any poop left in the yard is subject to a fee. This property may have noise monitoring devices that track decibel levels only and exterior security cameras at or near all entrances for safety and security. If keys, remotes, or fobs are lost or not returned, a $250 replacement fee per unreturned item applies, plus locksmith or rekey if required.
