South Park also features the Orpheum Theater and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
If you want to live in South Park, this neighborhood begins along West 8th Street and extends to I-10. The Harbor Freeway is along the northern end, while South Main Street is along the southern end. The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at 717 Olympic

We always strive to provide top-quality service to every guest, and we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience here at 717 Olympic! Please don't hestiate to reach out if you need anything. Marcus Hamm 717 Olympic Community Manager (213) 624-8439 717olympicmgr@greystar.com
Encourage Greystar leadership to inspect the 717 building. Upgrades to the elevator cabs and hallway carpeting on each floor are overdue to return to the 717 "elevated" lifestyle status. The floor 7 elevator vestibule has maintenance carts and other detritus most days. These items should be stored around the corner in the maintenance area to maintain the stated "elevated" property. Also, wood peneling corners on the 7th floor elevator vestibule need corner guards. A small detail but the elevator call buttons outside the elevator have a ring around them from when they used to get wiped down daily during the Covid period of time. The entire paneling outside the elevator should get cleaned so the "ring" is removed. I hope these comments are taken in the positive manner they are intended so leaseholders feel good about the "elevated" building in which thy are living.

My experience at 717 has been wonderful; the resident lounges with office space saved me on my first few days of move in, I did not have my desk and internet set up and needed a place to work. Shout out to the entire staff; all friendly and informative! My first few weeks have been awesome!

Hi there - thanks for your lovely comments about our team. We'll be sure to let them know they went Beyond Expectations! Marcus Hamm 717 Olympic Community Manager (213) 624-8439
717 Olympic is a great place to live. For the area, the value for an apartment is competitive. The apartments are maintained well and the staff is always friendly, no matter their position.
717 Olympic is an amazing community to live in and reasonably affordable for Los Angeles. Especially for the accommodations and amenities offered at 717. The convenience and walkability alone is highly sought after in DTLA. The staff from Leasing, Concierge and Maintenance are accommodating, kind, approachable and professional.
717 is absolutely amazing! The staff is outstanding!
Awful move in experience from the very first phone call, random ppl roam the building, the leasing staff is rude, Follow up is horrible, still have broken and non working items in my apt. I’ve never moved in a place, and couldn’t wait to move out. Most likely I’ll break my lease as soon as I get acclimated with the city, to find a better living space!! I love Greystar properties, but this thee WORST place I’ve ever lived in. I’m not looking forward to this leasing experience, and mind you, I’ve only been here for two weeks! :(
The maintenance guys did a great job addressing the two issues i had, plus fixed another one on the spot I had not put in a request about. Very responsive team!
Overall, living here has been a positive experience. It's a nice building with a good staff.
As someone who has never lived in LA and was a little nervous about it to begin with, living in 717 Olympic was the best decision I could have made. The community is kind, caring and genuinely wants to help make your living as easy and smooth as possible. I feel safe when I go home and am in my apartment at 717 Olympic and that is the best feeling.
The management does not care about complaints and living here will be constant repairs and maintenance. Expect to have your water shut off for the entire day multiple times a month and have lots of people coming in and out of your apartment during a pandemic for maintenance.
717 Olympic is a great community, in a great location in downtown LA. If you're looking for a place to reside in the downtown area, I would highly recommend 717 Olympic being on your list of places to visit.
To sum up my living experience at 717 Olympic, I'd compare it to a wing suite at the Bellagio, with a smaller footprint. 717 Olympic is located in the heart of DTLA across from entertainment venues like, Staple Center, LA Live, Convention Center and great places to eat within blocks. Los Angeles, and Downtown LA is a destination on its own. Being a premier community residence located on the corner of Olympic and Figueroa in the heart of DTLA, is a destination all to itself. Billboard living at its finest. Must see.
The Management Team, Concierge Team, Sales Team, Maintenance Team and Security Staff are always on point. They are very responsive, accomodating and professional. Great Team at 717 Olympic.
717 Olympic is a great choice for apartment living in the DTLA area. The building is very clean and well kept. The staff is professional, courteous and helpful. Our building manager Ashley always personally returns phone calls. Hector at the concierge desk is genuinely concerned about any issues I may have. The staff as a group have made me feel important and that they care about my happiness, well being and safety in this building and the surrounding area. The apartments are laid out very nicely and in great shape. It is surprisingly quiet considering where we are located. The amenities are great and the maintenance crew keeps everything nice and clean. I definitely recommend living here !
Living here has been a very enjoyable experience. Nice building and staff
I love living here you get to see LA so clearly at night.
From Olga showing us the apartment and assisting us with the application and lease process. Hector assisting in the moving in. Mario assisting in move in procedure and Keesha assisting in evening matters, there's no question 717 was the best decision!
These apartments are great. They have a very helpful and wonderful staff that will help you with all you need. I'm so happy that they also allow dogs and cats. Also with one of the best views of downtown LA that really tops the icing on the cake.
