7001 Arlington at Bethesda

7001 is a rare property in Bethesda with a dedicated green space on the second floor that made it feel secluded from the rest of the city. Leasing was made easy by Damion who always went the extra mile to make things easier and make sure you were taken care of. Another huge pro about 7001 is the awesome maintenance staff. William the maintenance supervisor was always on top of not only community issues but also any issue that arose in the apartment. Any issue we had were solved that day if it happened during business hours and the next day if not. William was always responsive and helpful from move in to move out.

I strongly would not recommend moving into this building. While it may seem well-run on the surface, the leasing and management team is unorganized, unresponsive, and frustrating to deal with. One of the biggest issues is their lack of proper communication, especially when it comes to lease renewals and rent increases. They failed to provide the required notice about a rent increase, and when they made an internal mistake in their system, they tried to back charge residents months later for their own oversight. Instead of taking accountability, they blamed the residents—despite never leaving voicemails or including both leaseholders in important communications. It’s also very telling that the positive reviews here don’t match what actual residents say in person. If you speak to people in the building, you’ll hear the same complaints over and over—poor management, bad communication, and unnecessary hassles. The disconnect between the online reviews and reality suggests that management is more concerned about their image with Bozzuto than actually improving the resident experience. There are far better buildings in the area where management is actually competent and cares about their residents. Save yourself the frustration—don’t move here.

The way the staff cares for the tenants here is extraordinary. William, our superintendent, stopped by to change the filter on our HVAC unit. He looked at the wood on our balcony, which was painted picnic-table red with much of the paint peeling. He told me he was going to order a wood replacement. The carpenters showed up, not long afterwards and now when I look out onto the balcony, I smile because it looks so much better, and I know it’s probably safer as well. I am so happy to be a tenant here. Thanks.

We are fairly new to the area, at the 7001 Arlington at Bethesda has been a great first home. It’s in a great area, close to some big stores and great restaurants and conveniently right next to the Crescent Trail. Everyone, both staff and neighbors, have been extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment itself is gorgeous and has plenty of room. I would recommend this apartment complex to a friend in a heartbeat

The staff are helpful, and the building is a great location. There is easy access to the Capitol Crescent Trail and the shops on Bethesda Row.

Gym in the building, yes please! Great amenities and staff! The building is very close to all my favorite fast food restaurants, plus the neighborhood itself is nice so I don’t mind walking to get dinner.

The building is well maintained and in a terrific location within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants in Bethesda Row. And the Capital Crescent Trail is right here.

Maintenance is great and apartment is pretty quiet. No real complaints except garage door has been broken for a long time. Overall a good place

The staff at 7001 Arlington at Bethesda are very helpful and kind. Apartment complex also is a nice quiet place to live at and there is a gym on site and grills in the courtyard and a community room as well.

Since Bozzuto(the New Management) took over, the customer service is a little slow. Treadmill has been broken for months now. The building is in a great location though

Lived here for seven years, and Bozzuto has been the best management company by far. We could use a pool, but c’est la vie. Would recommend!

The staff makes living here wonderful. They feel like family (but without the grouches). I enjoy being able to walk to everything in Bethesda. It's keeping me in shape, and having the Capital Crescent Trail right outside my door is the icing on the cake. I can't imaging a better location. Thanks.

It’s a nice environment with friendly staff. You feel safe and it’s luxurious. It’s pet friendly and easy access to the gym, trailer, metro and downtown restaurants are all walking distance

I can't say how grateful we are for this property and the management! We've lived here for over a year, having experienced different management styles since Bozzuto took over property management 6 months ago- and our experience has HUGELY improved with Bozzuto. Firstly, my husband and I are deaf and own one dog, with a lengthy criteria during our initial apartment hunt. We toured SO MANY other places before we moved. We not only needed a place that was dog-friendly with green space; a place with enough space and storage; a place that accommodated my husband's WFH job while allowing me to safely commute to my workplace; but we also needed a place that could accommodate our accessibility needs. Not only is the location of this place honestly amazing with how safe* and walkable* the area is, (the Metro is a 6 minute walk, Giant Foods is right there, and Bond Vet is literally next door!) and not only has our dog LOVED his experience here, but Bozzuto Management has consistently made sure our accessibility needs were met. Management has also gone above and beyond in making sure residents are personally listened to and feel cared for- recently for instance, they responded to a lost package (that resulted in a dead plant) by surprising us with a brand new plant, after hearing how sad we were about the first plant. It wasn't even their fault and they still(!) went the extra mile. As far as our apartment itself, our one-bedroom has been the perfect size- we have so much storage space, especially in the kitchen (which was essential as we love to cook and host!). Fitness center has also been great, with all the essentials there and the added perk of free access to Peloton bikes. The property itself is beautifully maintained as well. (Maintenance you rock!!) We also love love love how private the property feels, despite being just steps away from the bustling Bethesda Row. Huge thank you to the concierge, maintenance, and management, you guys are awesome!!

I have been living here for a little over a year. The apartments are beautiful and spacious. Perfect location for my needs. The courtyards are always well maintained and a pleasure to walk through. Their fitness center is large with tons of equipment. Wi-Fi in the common areas too! I love this place and all the wonderful concierges who make my living experience a wonderful experience.

Just looking at through the homepage allowed so much research before even going. The staff are amazingly thorough in person during tours.

The friendly staff goes above and beyond to help you in any way they can. No problem is to big or to small and it’s fantastic to know that no matter the problem, the team will do everything they can to fix it.

From the amazing welcoming staff when you walk in is only the beginning for you stay. The amenities are always spotless and well kept and the location is pretty convenient. Overall anyone who stays will not be disappointed.

The building itself has great amenities and very close to shops and restaurants. However, this building has inconsistent rent payment charges and the high turnover of managment staff. Monthly rent payment can vary from month to month. Also this property has seen a high turnover rate of managers within the past year or so. About 5 or 6 managers have been replaced and that makes things difficult for tenants since every manager is coming up with new regulations.

Dont move here. Other than the great location this place is a joke. Paper thin walls, you hear everything form barking dogs all hours of the night to babies crying to doors slamming. The tenant upstairs sounds like they walk around in cement shoes all day. Very poorly built. Also management is MIA...they cant keep a manger they go through them like water.

I have been here for a few months so I feel comfortable writing a review now and I have to say that I love it here. I can walk to so many amazing restaurants, I can walk to the grocery store, there is a close by trail that goes all the way to Georgetown, I love our concierge, and I could go on and on!

I moved here from Fairfax for a new job and I LOVE it here! So close to everything, everyone is so friendly and my favorite restaurants are right next to me now!

Once the novelty of living in a brand new space wears off, the reality sets in. Do not be fooled by the word ' luxury' and ' quality'- you will not find either here. This a no-frills, low amenity apartment. No pool, no events, poor common spaces, and limited staff engagement. This is a small property compared to others. When the conversion from condos to apartments was approved, the company decided to focus on cutting as many corners as possible and the end result is poorly constructed units with paper thin walls, sound resonating floors, weak walls (expect your shelves to be falling off at regular intervals) and single thermostat option- you have to chose either heat or AC, but not both. Maintenace has to switch it for you each season and at request and considering that service team is only in 3 days a week, be prepared to deal with most emergencies yourself - you better be handy. To add insult to the injury - management. The Fairfield Residential group is determined to function on the budget- no teas and cups in the lobby (too expensive), concierges on site are at limited hours (to cut the costs), no electric chargers at LEED certified building, no residents events and no permanent manager as of yet. Prices are compatible with other developments in the area, but customer service and qualities are not. Just keep that in mind when shopping around.

We love our apartment as far as the layout and features. We also like being near restaurants and stores and the Cap Crescent Trail. However, for the price we are paying we expect at least some level of privacy from our neighbors. The amount of sound you can hear surrounding units is ridiculous. Simple walking sounds like the ceiling is going to fall through. We regret moving here for that reason and won't be staying more than 1 year. It's too bad because it is a very convenient location. Unfortunately, though, if you can't enjoy actually being in your apartment then all the conveniences mean little. I cannot recommend living here.

Very nice building that was recently built. The management is very friendly and helpful. Nice green space and grills for residents to use and the building is relatively close to the metro. Only improvement would be if there was a pool.
