Room for Rent in Newly Remodeled Victorian Home – (Women Household) - $595 Room Includes: -One openable window for fresh air and hardwood floor -New 4.4 cubic foot fridge with mini freezer and microwave -Willing to partially or fully furnish! (Or leave unfurnished if you prefer) -All utilities included: Electricity, heat, water, trash/recycling -WiFi included -Room will come with locking door for privacy -Not technically part of rental but additional storage closet is available for use for the resident of this room and lots of additional storage on main level may be available upon request. Home & Amenities: -Shared bathroom -Shared kitchenette – Includes a brand new family-sized fridge, kitchen table and chairs, pantry area, tabletop oven (big enough for a pizza or even a whole turkey), microwave, coffee machine, blender, instant pot and more -No need to do laundry! Laundry service included – 1 free wash load per week (no folding), $7 per additional load. -No need to do dishes! Disposable/compostable dishes (plates, bowls, cups, silverware) provided every month (No kitchen sink is available on the second floor, you must be comfortable with this) -Extras provided by homeowner: Toilet paper, soap, hamper, furnishings available upon request! -Quiet living environment – To preserve the peace of all housemates, playing audio without headphones is not allowed and quiet hours between 10pm-8am (I have never enforced this rule yet but please be quiet and respectful of others especially at night) Location Perks: -Swede Hollow Park nearby – Enjoy nature just a short walk away! -Police station within sight – Provides a safer environment while still being a quiet place to live -Brand new security cameras (with tenant access), floodlights and other security upgrades. -Public transit extremely close – Easy commuting Some Rental Terms: -Women-only household and female guests allowed only for safety and to maintain a peaceful environment. This policy is allowable under Federal Law in an owner occupied household (Murphy's Law) -Every tenant and any guests must have a background check performed -Month-to-month lease (with 2 months notice required to vacate) -Security deposit: 1 month’s rent -Renter’s insurance required -I love pets but I currently do not own any. Some types of quiet, non destructive pets are allowed on a case by case basis with pet rent and deposit. -No off-street parking, but public transit is literally a one minute walk away! -You will be sharing a level with 2 ladies in their 20's (but one is almost never home because she lives with her partner most of the time). Both tenants are very considerate, kind and clean. I'm very blessed to have them here! -I’m a laid-back, hospitable single lady who purchased this home within the last year, living separately on the main level.
