Downtown Brighton wraps around Mill Pond creating a beautiful setting lined with parks and the Millpond Trail. The Brighton Market, a farmer's market held May-October, is a popular destination for local produce, baked goods, handmade items, and entertainment. Landmarks include the Old Town Hall, built in 1879. Brighton is considered a suburb of Detroit and is located about 42 miles northwest.
