With spacious living areas, a screened porch (lower units), a private balcony (upper units), and a well-appointed gourmet kitchen, you will love coming home to this exceptional space. The kitchen is fully equipped. A fully stocked wet bar with an ice maker is located off of the large living room, offering a spot for socializing. The living room sofa converts to a very comfortable bed, and there's an elegant desk with a view of the front lawn and landscaped median. Furnishings include a mix of new, midcentury modern, and antique furniture with original artwork by local artists Nico Amortigue and Arthur Brouthers. A 7-day pass to Charlotte’s biggest and best fitness center, the Dowd Y, is available for $50. A workstation is available to rent out for your stay, including a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. This is a dog-friendly home, and dogs must be registered at a cost of $59 per dog (two maximum). If you do not register your dog, you will be charged $120 per dog. Ideally situated a mile from the Uptown business district, in a park-like setting, on an exclusive residential street, Hermitage Court, this property is near Charlotte's iconic attractions and cultural destinations. The streetcar to Uptown is a 10-minute walk away. Uber/Lyft are also convenient options, and many bikeshare companies offer inexpensive bikes and scooters. Within a half mile walking distance are more than 40 restaurants, many locally owned shops along the Myers Park Mile, and several parks, including an almost-private tennis court in Edgehill Park. Live theater is staged just around the corner at Theatre Charlotte, and independent movies are screened at the Manor Theater less than a half mile away. Top-notch medical facilities are 2-3 miles away, and SouthPark Mall is less than 5 miles away. Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 7 am. Dogs are never allowed on the furniture or bed. If there is hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, damage, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged an additional fee. No parties, additional guests, events, or large gatherings are permitted. Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside or outside the home or building. Guests must be at least 21 years old to make a reservation. Air conditioning must remain between 72 and 75 degrees in the summer and 68-72 in the winter and on AUTO to help ensure it stays in good working condition during your stay.
