Large Room in Huge Victorian House in West Philly off City Line Ave. by St. Joseph University. This spacious 3rd floor room is $750/month, all utilities & WiFi included. Its fully furnished and with its Queen-sized bed, this room is ideal for a single or a couple or, with lots of room for an extra mattress, two students perhaps sharing the room. There are also extra queen-size air beds, air mattresses, and a fold-up bed if needed occasionally for short term guests. The large Living Room is great for relaxing with a book, hosting friends, meeting your housemates, or playing a game of chess. The wrap-around front porch overlooks a large front yard and there’s a picnic table with large umbrella in the back lawn. Whole house is over 3800 sq ft of space (see pictures). This is a no pets, no alcohol, and no smoking household (although smoking outside is OK). The large common use eat-in Kitchen is strictly vegetarian with two large refrigerators, extra two-burner cooking unit, two ovens, microwave, toasters, etc. - everything needed for your cooking and serving for yourself and your guests. The in-room mini-fridge and microwave are OK to use for meat (but no pork please). And there is a nice choice of local restaurants and a Starbucks (of course) nearby. A great location for transportation - 1 block from City Line Ave with its many buses, 1 block to the St. Joseph Univ. campus, and 3 blocks to the SEPTA Overbrook Station for the commuter rail (then 1 stop to 30th St Station and 2 stops to downtown Philly). Short drive to UPenn, Drexel, and University City. Off-street parking plus full day on-street parking - no meters and no residential stickers required. Our house has a generous 3 full baths, 3 half-baths with an extra toilet off the back laundry room. There are actually two laundry areas to use (so 2 washers + 2 dryers), air-conditioning, sheets & towels provided. Fast 50Mbps Internet throughout this large house via a powerful dual-band WiFi Extender. You're welcome to come by to see the house - please get in touch to make an appointment.
