Long closet space with good storage. * Second bedroom is south facing with a fun terraced egress window, surrounding you with lots of greenery. * Bonus room is equipped with an oversize closet for storage and is a perfect space for an office or temporary guests. * Private bathroom with shower/tub, * Modern kitchen with new appliances + dishwasher * "Great room" with a functioning fireplace. * 5 sunny egress windows terraced with plants * Shared laundry room with washer/dryer * Locking outdoor storage unit for bikes + gear Not only is the unit spacious! The house sits on a huge lot, over 1/2 acre with a working farm. It’s an urban gardeners' paradise, with amazing soil and plenty of (organic) gardening opportunities. We host summertime music and events out in the backyard. There is lots of space to hang outside in the summer in the yard, around the fire pit, or in the hammock under the giant shady Catalpa tree. While this is an independent unit and we won't share immediate living space, we will be sharing a house (I live in the upstairs unit!), storage unit, and laundry room. I'm looking for kind, quiet, respectful downstairs neighbors who are friendly and enjoy community connection. Me: She/her pronouns, in my late 40s. Since moving to Portland in 2000, I've lived in many PDX neighborhoods but love that Cully has become my home. I’m a lover of gardening, hiking, biking, cooking, and crafting. I'm a UX designer who works from home. You'll often find me out in the garden or working on some kind of building/improvement project around the property. * Cats ok with a cat deposit * Dogs - For those with dogs - there is a working farm out back and it is not conducive to having dogs unattended. In addition, there is no direct access to the outdoors to let the dog out. There is a staircase to an external door that leads to the front of the house. To access the backyard, you would need to walk around to the gate to access the backyard. * No smoking I'm happy to give remote or in-person tours. Thanks for your interest!
