These are owner-occupied condos and not a rental community. Wellington is beloved by its owners for how well the complex is taken care of and the premium location nestled in the historic Farmington Village. This updated unit is on the top floor (2nd floor) of a quadplex building (only 4 units in the building). The advantage of being on the second floor is that there is no one above you. It is extremely quiet and peaceful unit with courteous neighbors. This condo sticks out because it has one of the nicest galley kitchens in the complex with granite counters and modern cabinetry. The cabinets here have all the bells and whistles and are a great mix of drawers that fully pull out and large base and wall cabinets. Stainless steel hardware completes the modern look, along with the gleaming Uba Tuba granite counters that offer wonderful prepping and counter space. Being on the second floor, this unit gets drenched with natural light. The living room has almost an entire wall that is made up of windows. The windows here are also newer Thermopane and not the original windows seen in most other units. This unit has a very functional and versatile layout with an above average size bedroom farthest away from the living room. The dining area is situated in the middle of the unit between the living room and bedroom and the full bathroom is located close to the bedroom. The space is open, bright, impeccably clean. Recessed lights have been added recently to give it more of a modern feel and offer additional light. The full bathroom has a large vanity good for storage and a linen closet in the bathroom. It also has a low maintenance fiberglass tub and shower and ceramic tile floor. The size of the bathroom is a plus. The best part of this unit is the updated kitchen and it’s ideal layout for a one-bedroom. There is a built-in AC unit that does a great job cooling the unit. The heat is affordable electric heat because each room has its own thermostat and control. If you are not from the area, Farmington Village is a landmark with historic homes, scenic road and has one of the most revered private girl schools in the world, Miss Porter’s. Highland market, the post office, wine store, pizza, bank, Anytime Fitness, are all conveniently next door to the complex and would be less than a five-minute walk! A big surprise is the recreational area of the complex. There are nature trails in the back of the complex that lead to one of the largest rec areas for a condo complex in the area with an attractive in-ground pool, tennis and basketball. You can also conveniently drive there, This also boarders the Farmington River. A very neat spot. Another bonus is a large store unit comes with this unit in the basement.
