Saxon is a small neighborhood about three miles west of Downtown Spartanburg. Saxon embodies rural, Southern beauty with wooded streets, lush neighborhood parks, and houses on large plots of land with front porches. Great for Spartanburg commuters who want a quieter locale, Saxon has a wide variety of affordable rentals available for rent. Along with affordability and proximity to the city, Saxon is known for being home to the Spartanburg Methodist College. The neighborhood is also convenient to Wofford College and Converse College. Saxon has very few amenities, but residents don’t have to go far. Shopping centers like WestGate Mall are less than 10 minutes away.
