About This Property

This charming bungalow in southeast portland has large and lovely living spaces perfect for work, play, solitude, and building community. The MAIN FLOOR has a gracious living room and open, updated kitchen, with an additional dining space with southern light. The full bathroom is recently updated. The bedroom on the main level lets in light from the east and south. The UPPER FLOOR has two large bedrooms with two large closets, plus extra storage rooms. There is an additional space at the top of the stairs for a study nook or play area. A new heat pump provides the upstairs with heating and cooling. The BASEMENT has a deluxe washer/dryer, additional storage, and a toilet. The FRONT YARD is gated and huge with room to garden or just hang out. (NOTE: The back yard has a 1-bed, 1-bath, full kitchen ADU which we intend to rent out separately, though if you are interest in that as well we could bundle the house and ADU together.) The NEIGHBORHOOD is very peaceful and quiet. There's a gravel road that goes by on one side of the corner with lots of dog walkers and pedestrians strolling along. The amazing Brentwood Park and Brentwood Gardens is just a block away, and Woodstock neighborhood and Reed College is a few blocks further than that. If you go the other way you can get to I-205. It's basically a slice of country living within a walk of major bus lines. The owners live nearby and available should anything arise. Thank you for looking!
