Located in northern Fulton County, Roswell combines historical heritage with contemporary living. The city features 900+ acres of parkland, including access to the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, where residents enjoy hiking trails and river activities. The downtown district centers around Canton Street, where preserved architecture houses local shops, galleries, and restaurants. Current rental data shows one-bedroom apartments averaging $1,439, with rates decreasing 4% over the past year.
Roswell's history dates to the 1830s with the establishment of the Roswell Manufacturing Company, which became North Georgia's largest cotton mill. Three preserved antebellum homes - Bulloch Hall, Barrington Hall, and Smith Plantation - now serve as museums and cultural centers. The city calendar features signature events like Georgia's largest Memorial Day ceremony and the Alive in Roswell festival, running monthly from April through October.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at 555 Mansell
My daughter lives at 555 Mansell in Roswell GA. Over the last month her air conditioner has been broken at least 8 times. The property refuses to fix the problem to completion and will not provide a point of contact to anyone higher than the manager. This is absolutely ridiculous as the temperatures in GA are now over 95 degrees. One of the maintenance team members had the nerve to tell her she could not turn the thermostat below 72 degrees. They continue to take my child's rent but refuse to provide adequate and user friendly accommodations. I invite anyone from their corporate office to provide a contact number as I am the cosigner on this apartment. I am demanding concessions off of July's rent until this issue is resolved!

Hello, we are disappointed to hear that your experience with our team has fallen below the high standard of service that we aim to deliver. Our top priority is providing comfortable, well-maintained homes for our residents, and we sincerely apologize if you feel we have not matched up to your expectations. We try to fulfill all maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner. At your earliest convenience we would like to discuss these matters with you. Thank you.
Toured this place and it was decent but management needs to get it together. First we were told the admin fee was waived but upon going to apply the rent prices on the website were different than the ones given to us at our tour and there was still an admin fee. In addition, we were told the apartment we were planning to apply for would be held for 2 days. After multiple phone calls we were told that the prices would be fixed to reflect what was given at our showing and we were given a promo code for the admin fee. Upon attempting to enter the code the apartment was no longer listed. When we called management said that despite it supposedly being held if anyone submits an application before us they get the unit. So we will not be living here to say the least.

The next day after I've moved here I came to the leasing office and told that I want to break the lease. Apartments is dirty and infested with roaches. The company did some renovation before I moved - new carpets and wall painting. But how they did it - the carpets were put just on top of trash left from previous tenants and you can see this dirty particles coming here and there between the carpet edge and walls in big quantity. This trash under the carpet attracts more insects as well. Walls have been painted with roaches crawling on them so you can see dead insects stuck in painting. The so called security deposit in actual lease agreement proved to be nonrefundable fee. I plan to move out from here soon.
I am brand new to this apartment community. So far I must say it feels like home. The location is outstanding and my renovated apartment is nice. There is no perfect apartment home; apartments are what you make them. You have to be a good neighbor, clean up after yourself, your children and your pets. My preparation to move in was made so much easier because of Alessandra and the property manager, Christina. They have both done everything possible to make this experience a good one for me. I appreciate their hard work and diligence. They are both very hard working and in my opinion they are doing everything they can to make this property one of higher standards. The maintenance staff came in right away to answer my request several small items, the gentleman was very nice and professional. The dog park is nearby and convenient. Although the trash in the park is in need of changing, badly and doggy bags need to be restocked, it is still a convenience. If all tenants with pets act responsibly and pick up behind their dogs it is a really nice place for your dog to run around and play. I believe feedback is important; therefore I plan to continue to let you know how things are going for me, so if you are considering moving here you can make the best decision for you. As for me, so far I am happy! I will continue to be honest and I will make sure I keep you posted!
I have lived here for about 4-5 months now and its perfect for my boyfriend and I. We live in an un-renovated apartment because the price was much lower and while a renovated one would have been nice, what we have isn't too bad. Carpet and walls are good, my main complaint is the kitchen had very outdated appliances (on day 1 we made them replace the stove because 2 burners did not work, they brought another old one but it had no major issues) and the cabinets were very old and flaking. Yes roaches are a problem at this complex but they are a problem at any low cost apartment complex. I complained on week 1 and someone was sent the next day to spray our place. As long as you keep things clean you won't see very many roaches. Maintenance is very responsive and will usually come the same day or next day and they are very nice and polite. I feel that the walls are very thick and when you have the fan running, you can't hear anything from neighbors. The biggest issue we had so far was the AC unit went out and it could not be fixed until the next day, but they brought us a window AC unit to help us get through the night. The location is great. Lots of restaurants nearby, only 10 minutes from the mall, close to 400, and right across the street from Walmart and a few banks. I am looking forward to the day we can afford to live somewhere better, but if you are looking for a cheap place to live with lots of conveniences nearby, 555 Mansell is comfortable for the money.
I have lived at this complex for 2 years, one with the previous management company and one with Pegasus. Pegasus has lived up to their reputation as company with all hype and no results. A lot has been done to make the complex look better, but the management team leaves a lot to be desired. Nothing has been addressed concerning poor lighting in parking areas, laundry rooms are literally falling apart. New remodeled "clubhouse" is only accessible during business hours. So for the residents that work during the day, it does not benefit them. Trash is constantly over flowing out the compactor. Roaches and mold is an issue.
I have lived in my apartment at 555 Mansell for 3 years and love the location. I live near Wal Mart, Big Lots, Kroger, Aldi, and plenty of Restaurants. Now that the management at 555 Mansell has changed, they have began making wonderful improvements. This includes 2 new pools, a new 24-7 accessible gym, a new front office, and most importantly new exterior and interior upgrades. The buildings have been repainted and all of the porch areas have been redone. I recently viewed a renovated interior unit and was stunned by the upgrades. The new look is very chic and modern. This includes a grey wooden floor look, new cabinets, new light fixtures, a grey color scheme, new appliances and more. I look forward to upgrading to a renovated unit hopefully in the next year.
