Wonderful haven in the heart of West Hollywood

I've lived in over 6 locations in the last decade and 525 North Flores St. is by far the best spot yet! It's a 3-bedroom/2-bath apartment located in West Hollywood. It's only two minutes from the Beverly Connection and the Beverly Center, both convenient and excellent shopping centers, and is nestled in a very well manicured neighborhood. The neighbors are polite, courteous and quiet; they mostly keep to themselves, but aren't afraid to say hello if you're out. You're also close to Rosewood Avenue Elementary School, the Center for Early Education and Maimonides Academy. Also the rent is excellent thanks to West Hollywood's rent control policy. It's made living here very affordable. My recommendation for getting the low rent is moving in with people who are already renting here, that way you can lock-in the rate they're paying. The apartment itself is great. As I said before it's a 3-bedroom/2-bath with a large living room at the center and an adjacent kitchen. The bedrooms are approximately 450 sq. ft. and one of them has a private bathroom while the other two share a bath. The shared bathroom comes with a single sink along with a shower/bathtub combination. The private bathroom only contains a sink and a standing shower. The bedrooms have excellent closet space, mine has a walk-in closet of about 150 sq. ft. The apartment also comes with a small balcony that's great for relaxing in the morning and enjoying a cup of coffee. There's also a little dining area next to a large window, which is helpful because the apartment works best with natural lighting. The kitchen comes with a stove/oven, a fridge, a pantry and loads of cabinet space. Perfect if you like cooking at home! The only area that I'd say needs improvement is the air conditioning and the parking. The apartment uses wall units so it takes a while to cool down, which can be a pain on those hot summer days. With the parking, the apartment does come with two parking spots, but they're right behind each other so you have to coordinate who's going to get the outside spot. Plus it also means someone is going to have to find street parking, which can be difficult if there's street cleaning the following morning. Street cleaning here is Friday and Thursday 8-10 AM, so if you do leave it over night remember to move your car before the 8 AM mark. Overall I've loved my living situation and would recommend the 525 N. Flores Apartments!
