About the apartment Lovely studio apartment in the basement of our home. Very near the Veteran’s Administration and the 50th Street station of the Blue Line train, which takes you to the airport and downtown Minneapolis & St. Paul. By car, we are 10 minutes to the Minneapolis airport. You have a private entrance to the house. The apartment has a locked front door, two egress windows, a full bath and two large rooms for dining, sleeping and relaxing. The walls are insulated for warmth and soundproofing. The space is warm and inviting. The apartment is furnished with a king-size bed, couch and coffee table, closet system, and kitchenette. There is not a traditional oven or stove, but we provide a microwave oven, large toaster oven and high quality hotplate cooktop. You would share laundry facilities with us. They are located on the first floor of the house. We occasionally care for our daughter’s sweet dog. You don’t need to let them into your space, but it will help if you are not afraid of or wildly allergic to pets. If you enjoy pets, you will be welcome to share the love. Cost for renting the basement apartment: Rent for the apartment is $1,250/month, due on the 1st of the month. This price includes all utilities. There is plenty of street parking if you have a car. Our commitment to you: We will deal in a timely way with any problems in the apartment. We will be interested in and responsive to your needs and concerns. Conditions: No smoking; No drug use; Keep sounds (music, TV, etc) at a reasonable volume; We ask that you only come upstairs to access the washer and dryer on the first floor; We ask that you use your private entrance on the side of the house.
