East Marion is a small hamlet on the far northeastern corner of Long Island, the last stop before you reach Orient at the end of the peninsula. The community’s secluded beaches offer stunning views and ample opportunities for boating and fishing. The local rental market includes a wide variety of houses, from swanky waterfront estates to sensible suburban homes farther inland.
While East Marion itself is almost entirely residential, you’ll be right next door to the larger community of Greenport, which sports a thriving Downtown district with a wide selection of restaurants, bars, and other popular hangouts. Ferry service provides access to Shelter Island to the south and even up to New London, Connecticut, on the other side of Long Island Sound.
