About 50 W 106th St New York, NY 10025
I’m seeking a tenant for my 1BR apartment located in UWS, at W106 Street and Manhattan Avenue. The apartment is on the first floor of a doorman building. It is a corner unit with windows in each room. The bedroom is 14’x10’ with 2.5 closets, and the living room and kitchen area measures 16’x11’ with one closet and 2 storage racks. The hallway entry connects the bedroom, bathroom and living spaces. The apartment comes with a queen-size bed, a portable kitchen island that can double as a table, a dishwasher, a full size sofa bed and footstool, 2 air conditioners, and a small table with storage. A laundry room with new and efficient washers and dryers is located in the basement of the building. It’s just 1 short block to Central Park, and 4 blocks from Riverside and Morningside Parks. The nearest subway stations are the B and C trains on W103 and W109 Streets, along Central Park West. The M116, M10 and M7 buses have stops a few yards away, and a Citibike dock is just half a block east. A dry cleaner is around the corner. You will find lots of bar and restaurant options on Columbus and Amsterdam Aves, and along Broadway. I’m open to a lease from 6 months up to 1 year, available December 1, 2018 (or sooner) with a fresh paint job. An interview with the co-op board may be requested. There is no smoking in the apt.

New York City’s Upper West Side is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan. While landmarks like the Metropolitan Opera, the Lincoln Center, and the American Museum of Natural History lend a distinctly highbrow air to the landscape, the overall community environment favors down-to-earth personalities and accessible neighborhood amenities.
So what’s it like to live in the Upper West Side, and what exactly is this neighborhood known for? The local dining scene is superb, featuring a vast landscape of restaurants representing every style and flavor imaginable, most of which are affordable enough to become regular stops. Grocers and retail stores are close at hand, and everywhere in the Upper West Side is within walking distance of Central Park— those living near the eastern edge of the neighborhood can enjoy gorgeous views of the sun rising over the park every morning.
