As described by the outgoing housemate: Looking for a quiet place with good energy and fabulous outdoor space? Look no further.  I am leaving a pretty great situation in Highland Park (only because I have to move out of state for school) and am helping my rad femme/gen X/yogi housemate/landlady find a replacement housemate.  This home is a super cute Spanish revival on a safe and quiet street that is equidistant between Figueroa and York which makes it a 20 minute walk to the best of highland park including Joy, Bubs Pizza, and Cafe de Leche on York and Goldline, Highly Likely, and Villas Tacos on Figueroa. I frequently walk to both in addition to the grocery stores. But if you have a car there is also ample parking out front.  The way the house is set up it’s like you have your own wing. The bedroom has a skylight that you can easily close if you want to sleep in but otherwise provides the dreamiest light for a dreamy space, the windows face a loquat tree on a quiet side of the house. It’s a magical place to rest. There’s a decent closet and hardwood floors as well. The bathroom is nice and big with a great double mirrored cabinet, a window, a tile shower and decent sized bathtub. It’s very clean and comfortable. The bonus is the office room which I made into my work from home space, lounge area and art studio. With windows on both sides it also gets great light and is high enough off the street that no one can see in even at night. The shared space is cute and simple with a couch, TV with all the apps, dining table and a kitchen that is full of everything you could need.  The backyard is dreamy, you really feel like you could be anywhere, it’s lush, there’s a lemon tree a fig tree a pomegranate tree, an orange tree, an apricot and giant cactus among two other big trees. It’s a great place to sit and have your morning coffee or tea. There is also a nice bright front porch that offers ample place to sun yourself. Central air and heat both work great and last but not least there is Priscilla a spry old cat to keep you company when you’re feeling lonely. She mostly keeps to herself but can also be really sweet if you’re needing a friend.  Home owner is great to live with. Self aware, accommodating and communicative. Don’t miss out on this gem!  PS this posting is seeking ONLY ONE housemate. No couples or families.
