Situated at the southern end of College Park, Calvert Hills Historic District exemplifies the cultural, social, and historic heritage of Prince George’s County. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Calvert Hills Historic District was once home to the Wright brothers, and sits adjacent to the College Park airport, which was the oldest continuously operating airport in the world until its temporary closure on September 11, 2001.
