About This Property

I'm leaving Eugene to study abroad in Australia, so I'm sub-leasing my room from July 14 to August 31 (48 days, which will be pro-rated). You can renew the lease (10-month lease if I recall) if you so choose. My room is 1 of 4 rooms conjoined to a common kitchen area (called a "quad.) You get: - 1 bedroom w/ sink and closet; two lights with a ceiling fan - 1 large sliding window with blinds - 1 shared bathroom with toilet and sink - 1 shared shower-room with shower, towel rack, shelves, sliding door, drain and infrared lights (to keep the bathroom toasty and warm when you get out) - 1 shared kitchen w/ kitchen sink, microwave, coffee pot, oven and stove top w/ fan, large refrigerator and freezer, private cabinets for personal food storage, shared trash bin, and areas for storage (such as for bicycles) - 1 shared patio - 1 shared hallway - 1 mailbox w/ large box for receiving packages - 1 shared laundry room (reasonably priced; takes quarters for washing and drying clothes) Monthly rent includes costs for: - Electricity - Water - Garbage - High-speed internet. - Optional (extra cost): Parking space Quadmates (2 students and 1 Tai Qi instructor) - Casual and easy going - Very hygienic (no kitchen, shower-room or bathroom mess) - Not noisy at all Accessibility: - ~3 blocks from Safeway and Hirons (extremely convenient for grocery, general shopping and pharmacy needs) - ~5 blocks from UO campus - ~2 blocks from bus stop; ~5 blocks from EMX (the bus that runs along the UO campus) - UO has free Wi-Fi for students, and Starbucks (~3 blocks) has free Wi-Fi for everyone - ~3 blocks from Safeway and Hirons (extremely convenient for grocery, general shopping and pharmacy needs) - ~5 blocks from UO campus - ~2 blocks from bus stop; ~5 blocks from EMX (the bus that runs along the UO campus) - UO has free Wi-Fi for students, and Starbucks (~3 blocks) has free Wi-Fi for everyone

As its name suggests, West University is located directly west of the University of Oregon. Some parts of the neighborhood stretch into Downtown Eugene, giving residents easy access to the excitement of the city. Naturally, the area has a strong college-town feel and is pedestrian-friendly, so you’ll see residents walking or bicycling through the streets. Catering to the college crowd, West University is filled with trendy restaurants, casual eateries, cozy coffeehouses and tea shops, vintage stores, and grocers. When residents aren’t enjoying West University’s abundance of amenities, you’ll find them canoeing or dog walking at Alton Baker Park a mile north of the neighborhood.
