OPEN HOUSE: Monday, February 24, 8-10 am I fall in love with this place every time I walk through the front gate. I'm sure you will too. The luscious garden surrounds you and welcomes you to a whole new world with a sense of calm and peace. To say it's transformative might sound like a bit much, but that's really what the experience is. You completely leave the busy world behind when you walk through the garden entrance into this serene, sunny space. This one bedroom bungalow is full of 1920s charm with well maintained character and updates... like built in cabinets, decorative fireplace and moldings, hardwood floors, and beautiful wooden paned windows. There is a washer and dryer in the bungalow, too, which is a luxury hard to live without once you have it. Off street parking is included. We have just finished giving the whole place a nice, bright coat of fresh white paint and are refinishing the hardwood floors now. It feels sparkly and new... with vintage charm and character. A lovely combination! The spirit of this property is very relaxing and calm. The other longtime tenants are kind and respectful of one another. It's a really charming place to call home. Now, let's talk location... it's just around the corner from Sqirl, the beloved cafe, soon to be your regular place. Sunset Junction is a 10 minute walk and where you'll find Intelligentsia, Cafe Stella, Mohawk General Store, and many other new delightful shops and restaurants. Trader Joe's, Whole Food's 365, and Gelson's are all within 5 minutes in the car. There's a sweet farmer's market every week at Sunset Junction too. The Silver Lake Reservoir and Park makes for a nice running destination. You're also just a few minutes drive from Griffith Park.
