About the Listing Agent

Sherry Payne
Keller Williams Advantage Waco
I have watched the Austin area become what it is today. There was a time when there was nothing but cedar trees along Hwy 183 and now it is commercial all the way. The Leander city where I grew up, went to school, and then watched my kids go through the LISD school until graduation day has been my home. Recently I moved to the Waco area to be near my daughter and her family as she started growing her family and now, I have had the good fortune to start a family ran team. We are the Heartland Realty Team, and we work between Austin and Waco and all of the surrounding areas. I started my career in the restaurant business and worked my way up to General management. After a 20+ year career in the ever-busy restaurant business and perfecting customer service excellence I decided I wanted to do something more rewarding which took me into a 10-year adventure working at a Residential Treatment Facility for teenage girls and a foster and adoption program. This work was very difficult, fulfilling, heartbreaking, rewarding and all of the above. I still have girls that I stay connected with to this day. Once my daughter graduated from High School and went off to college, I decided it was time to do something I had been passionate about. I always wanted to work in Real Estate and was concerned to start a fully commissioned based income as a single mother. I should have known that God would provide as he always had. I quickly became in the Top Producing agent and the Top10% of our Market Center and top 500 in the Surrounding Austin Area. One of the things that attracted me the most to Keller Williams is their motto God, Family, and Business. I thought if any large organization can put God first then it is the company for me. And as we know Keller Williams has a great brand and they work across the states and internationally. Working side-by-side with my son in law and Buyer Specialist, Derek Smythe, my daughter and TC and Executive Admin Assistant, Kaylee Smythe has been such a gift from above. My team and I work hard to listen to what our clients are looking for. I have always worked with a customer service mentality with the ability to bring the buyers and sellers around to a reasonable negotiation tactics. I believe in a collaborative relationship. I will treat you with respect and integrity and make sure that I work ethically and professionally to meet all of your real estate needs. Striving for unparalleled service and commitment to excellence. We appreciate the opportunity to work with you and our team will work hard to make sure that we help you every step of the way, guiding you through the process. With Gratitude and Best Wishes, Sherry R. Payne Heartland Realty Team (Rainmaker and Listing Agent)
