About This Property

I'm currently living in this unit myself (bought the unit in 2021), but am moving to a different place (still in SF so I'll be close). It's a gorgeous, quiet 1 bedroom with more space than I know what to do with. :) Looking for a long term tenant (6 month minimum lease). I could either leave it furnished, or completely remove all furnishings, or something in between. You could also buy some of the furnishings, if you prefer. I'm super flexible with whatever makes the most sense for the next tenant. I put up some photos of what it looks like right now (what a mess ;)), as well as from when I just moved in. The living room currently has 4 standing desks, since my team would often come over and co-work. Of course I'll remove those; just mentioning it in case you want to keep them. The unit is upgraded in some interesting ways, which could be really great for those who are looking for the same things as I care about: * I like a dark and quiet bedroom but still with some light in the morning, so I installed 3 blackout and sound suppression panels, and I had the remaining window fitted with an extra layer of glass (for extra sound reduction) and remote controlled blinds. This makes it super quiet and dark, but lights up the room with one press of a button. ** If you don't like this, I can remove any of those things, and you can put in your own blinds/curtains or whatever you prefer. * I put an electric outlet in the main closet where the high-speed 1Gbps fiber internet comes in, so you can run routers/servers there. * Wall-mounted lamps in the living room, for tons of light in the evening (in addition to the tons of natural light you get during the day). * Washer/dryer and dishwasher have recently gotten full maintenance. * Bathroom has a new energy-saving removable shower head. * Quick-use safety ladder on the balcony (in addition to the emergency stairs right across from the apartment), just in case. * All light fittings are outfitted with remote-controlled Philips Hue RGB lights, which I can leave in there for you if you want. Besides that, lots of good standard stuff: * Parking spot in the garage ("compact" but still quite big — I've fit mid-size SUVs in there with no issue). * Fully decked-out kitchen: fridge, freezer (with ice-maker), dishwasher, oven, microwave. And lots of cupboards / storage. * Built-in closet in the bedroom, as well as a free-standing closet of my own. * Large closet at the front entrance (this is where the internet comes in). * Closet for washer+dryer (which also has some more space for storage). * Garbage chute and recycling bin on the same floor. * In-sink-erator food waste disposer. * Gas stove. * Air conditioning and heating in the wall. Big door (with bug screen) leads to a huge balcony, which looks out over the communal rooftop, with plenty of trees, making it feel like you're in a park. The unit is on the 6th floor, which isn't so crazy high that elevator rides take an eternity, but still gives you a bit of a view. It's in The Metropolitan, which is a luxury building with 24/7 staffing, full indoor spa (pool, hot tub, two (!) saunas), package rooms, movie theater, business center (with printers and scanners), conference/activity room, rooftop garden + sitting area (with bbq). E-bike rental right in front. EV charging not yet available but is being worked on. The gym is worth mentioning separately, since it's actually really big, and not just one of those tiny condo gyms to check a box. It has a Smith machine, barbells and dumbbells of all sorts (including EZ bar), rowing machine, various cable machines, lots of cardio machines (including a Stairmaster), yoga area (including all sorts of mats, rollers, kettlebells, bands, and more), assisted pull-up machine (!), and various leg/chest/shoulder machines. If you particularly care about this I'd be happy to show you around, but it really is a great perk. It's close to BART and Caltrain, the central bus station, freeways, and lots of tech and finance offices. Oracle Park and Chase Center are super close. The biking infrastructure around this apartment is probably the best in the whole Bay Area; and there's an (e-)bike rental station right in front. You can easily get groceries delivered, and there is a grocery store a 5 minute walk away, and regular farmer's markets (eg at the Ferry Building, on the water) are a 10 minute walk. Nearby there's a little park with sports (soccer, pickleball, chess, outdoor gym), a beer garden and food trucks, and all sorts of events (outdoor movie screenings, comedy, glass blowing, dance classes). The Salesforce Park is also close by, which has lots of entertainment (yoga, workout classes, dance, family events, art/music/writing/dj/drums/guitar workshops, etc). There's tons of restaurants nearby in all directions. If you're into running, you'd love running by the water on the Embarcadero (either direction is beautiful). Pets are fine as far as I'm concerned. The HOA has some rules though, so please contact me for details (size restrictions, fees/deposits, that sort of stuff). I pay for water and garbage, you pay for electricity, gas, and internet. I'm flexible in when it is available; just contact me!
