I am here because of a short term work assignment. An excellent option, although there are many longer term renters. Community is friendly, and generally quiet. The staff is quite helpful and there is significant effort in upkeep of the grounds.

3500 Westlake has been my home for 5 plus years and I love it here! The property is beautiful, safe and the amenities are incredible!! The location is easy access to most everything in the city. The office staff is always very courteous, friendly, professional and they plan fun events on a regular basis! The maintenance staff, especially Joel, are extremely knowledgeable and professional and they have been with the property for many years. I cannot say enough good about living here!

I am a fairly new tenant (2 months) and am very pleased with everything about 3500 Westlake. The management staff are excellent - very responsive, especially Jamie and Tom, with whom I have had most of my communication. I have has some minor maintenance issues and they were handled quickly with zero stress on my end. During recent weather emergencies (as well as the ever-changing pandemic situation) the communications have been consistent, clear and helpful. The grounds and amenities are kept in great shape. In my specific bldg, the neighbors are quiet and respectful. This is a great community - I am very happy here!

3500 Westlake has an awesome cottage floorplan that shares no walls with other units, it's almost like living in a little house. It's very private and very quiet, exactly what I was looking for.

This community is very well managed. The management is very professional, from assistance, problem solving, to responsiveness, communication. Their decisions, and pandemic handling are so impressive. The maintenance team is absolutely awesome, they fix everything within few hours from submitting the request. Tenants, neighbors are super friendly, nice people. We love living at 3500! The staff are wonderful and any needs are always taken care of quickly and with a smile. Were in a wonderful neighborhood that provides opportunities for walking/jogging with easy access to trails for hikes nearby. Great restaurants are within walking distance and a mostly easy commute to anywhere we need to get in the city! If youre looking for a new home, we definitely recommend 3500!

The staff is friendly and responsive, addressing work requests quickly. I feel safe here and the other residents Ive met here so far seem friendly as well.
I have enjoyed living at 3500 Westlake! It's a beautiful community and my unit feels like a home!
Firstly, there is not enough parking. I know everywhere in Austin says that but this complex legitimately does not have enough parking spots for the amount of residence. The property management is fully aware of this fact but will try to gloss over it. If you do not find a spot in time you will be forced to park at the office on top of the hill which is no easy hike. Also, the onsite property management employees are awful. They use gossip to try to file any warning possible and are not nice or pleasant at all once you sign the lease. They act like you are the enemy instead of a paying customer. This is not just my personal experience either but many who live here. Dechele is by far the worst and will make your life at this property a nightmare like she enjoys it. She leaves unnecessary and rudely toned voice mails while you are busy at work and passive aggressive warnings for the smallest things for you to come home to. Finally, it is just too expensive for what you are getting. This has been the worst living experience of my entire life and double what I paid for my last terrible experience. Let me reiterate, DO NOT MOVE HERE, under any circumstance.

My experience with 3500 Westlake could not be better. The management is incredibly friendly and helpful, the facilities are well-maintained and the buildings are well-maintained and attractive. I have had zero issues during my time here wt 3500 Westlake, and I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather live.
I have lived here 5 years, the first time I have not had my own home, I enjoy the residents, the maintenance staff is great. It is quiet, I enjoy the gym.
It is great the experience of living in 3500 Westlake. My family is very pleased to live here and I would recommend if you are looking for an apartment in Austin.
These apartments are a bit outdated and in need of renovations and updates. The rent is way too high and the community amenities and apartment features are way to little to justify the rent. There are many much better values in the Austin area. I only live here for the school district. I'm looking for another apartment or house.
Community is an awesome place to live, with friendly staff members to the provided amenities, it can't even get any better. Also the location is the best part, your minutes away to any destination.
Clearly this complex is managed by the pompous wealthy snobs who reside here and not the on-site manager Liana. Received a lease violation today stating that my dog is making noise running and jumping late at night and barking all day long. When I spoke to Liana about this she said that my downstairs neighbors had complained multiple times about this and so that warrants a lease violation. I had no say in the matter and weather there was any truth to the issue was completely irrelevant to her. Liana nor any of the staff or surrounding neighbors have ever heard my dog barking during the day nor have talked to me about it. I am home during most of the day and my girlfriend and I are not up late since both of us work full time as well as go to school full time as well. So i should walk on eggshells and never let my dog walk anywjere so my precious neighbor can sit in pure silence. These are apartments! I hear my neighbors upstairs but i guess i just have the common sense and capacity to understand that apartments arent soundproof. My dog does get up sometimes to get water in the middle of the night, which Liana said I should lock him in my bedroom instead to satisfy the neighbors complaints. I am extremely courteous and friendly to all residents yet because the bias and word of a resident that was here before me says something then it must be true. Basically my downstairs neighbor should just have violations that he can write out anytime he wants because that was the direct action. This kind of disregard for equality is disgusting and is subpar to the Greystar standards that i am familiar with. This is extremely unprofessional and biased/unfair treatment of a resident. Liana showed no interest in what I had to say nor my side. However I am a new resident and not wealthy so therefore my side is not relevant. Good to know that the staff is too cowardly to give the benifits of doubt to a US Marine Corps Combat Veteran and his PTSD service dog. If you are the property manager then manage the property and stop letting your residents do it for you. I wouldn't want someone to actually have to step away from surfing the Web and sitting in their chairs though to actually come see if there is truth to the accusations that would be require you to do your job.
