Within walking distance of almost anything you could imagine, the unique sanctuary in the middle of Salt Lake City is ideal for college students or working professionals. Traits such as leaded glass accents, a glass bottle chandelier, an extra-deep jetted bathtub, and ample storage space add to the home's charm. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet. Outside, you can enjoy summer evenings on the large TREX front porch surrounded by old-growth trees or in the private backyard with a fire pit. The bathroom upstairs is a full bath. The bathroom on the main floor is a ¾ bath but the listing would not allow me to mark it as such. This home was owner-occupied for 11 years. I have been renting it for the last 5 years. The house has an entirely separate apartment in the basement that is currently inhabited by a quiet, kind, respectful, and clean tenant who has also been there for 1 year. It is essential that whoever moves into this unit communicates and problem-solves well with the basement tenant. I will be doing some minor work on the unit and painting as the current tenants are getting ready to move out. Photos are from a previous move-out. The red bedroom is now gray. Once the current tenants move, I will have the carpets, windows, and home professionally cleaned. Tenants pay for gas, power, and internet. Since the current tenants said they pay $375-$500 per month on utilities, I set the rent price for $600 less than the Rentler market report suggested I rent the house for ($2960).
