About This Property

Perfectly located between Sunset Junction and Silverlake Blvd, within walking distance of some of the best restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in LA, the Casa Larissa apartment building has been home to artists, creatives, and filmmakers since 1929. You'll be renting my fully-furnished guest bedroom and gaining access to my entire one-of-a-kind apartment in the heart of Silverlake. Your bedroom includes a queen bed, desk, lounge area, and walk-in closet. The rest of the apartment, which is shared, includes an eat-in kitchen with breakfast nook, a formal dining room that seats eight, a full-length porch with epic views, a comfortable living room with a leather sofa, vintage stereo and faux-fireplace, and a library full of books on art and design. The bathroom is shared. Laundry is in the basement. And parking is on the street. The apartment has been featured in the LA Times, Openhouse Magazine, and the coffee table book "The Cool and Collected Homes of the New Bohemians." My fiancé and I are out of town a lot, so you will have the entire place to yourself a lot of the time. I don't rent to couples, though you are more than welcome to have friends or significant others over. The $2000 flat rate includes internet, all utilities, and a once-a-month cleaning service. There is no AC and the apartment will get warm midday during heat waves. I recommend not working from home in the summer. Come over for a tour or video chat via zoom/whats app. Then if we hit it off, pay two months rent and the room is yours. I prefer to rent in two month increments, and you can move out at any time, with two months notice.
