Stay in New Orleans like a local! This safe & quiet home is adjacent to the historic mansions of the Garden District & only 3 miles from the French Quarter. Full of local, small biz shopping, bars, breweries and restaurants, and close to the tourist sites of downtown, you can kick back after a long day of exploring and relax in this peaceful neighborhood full of NOLA flavor. This home is individually owned & operated, with all the character, love & care to make you feel at home! The St. Charles Ave streetcar and Magazine St. bus are both a few blocks away and are reliable, direct straight rides to downtown/the French Quarter, as well as sites further uptown like Audubon Park, the Zoo and Tulane and Loyola universities. We are only 3 miles from the Quarter, so Uber/Lyft rides are readily available and incredibly cheap! Please note: this is a shotgun style home built in 1939- a shotgun home does not have hallways, meaning all rooms (with the exception of the bath) are connected. There is a back door access to the kitchen & 2nd bedroom.
