About This Property

Located northwest of downtown Seattle, Magnolia is a tranquil, suburban neighborhood that features some of the most stunning real estate in the city. With incredible views of the water on all sides, plentiful parks, and top-notch amenities, this neighborhood is one of Seattle's best places to live. This beautiful house in Magnolia sits on a large tree-lined corner lot on two quiet streets, with both an expansive front, side, and back yards. It is walking distance to several great schools (Blaine, Magnolia Elementary School, Lawton, Fatima, and a few other smaller independent schools and preschools). The bus stop is one block away. Also within walking distance is the Magnolia Village, which has fabulous parks, public tennis courts, restaurants, bars and shops as well as your pharmacies, medical professionals, grocery stores, and the amazing outdoor Mounger Pool, complete with baby pool and larger slides! It is the perfect location in 1,000,000 different ways, and it is a house perfect for caring renters who want to create a home. The house itself is 2400 square feet and has a one-car attached garage and a parking pad as well as plenty of street parking. A wide, covered front porch invites people to sit and relax, as does the back deck, which is waiting for your brand of furniture and fun. Newly renovated, the house has brand new carpet as well as newly professionally-refinished hardwood floors and high-end features and appliances. It has recently been repainted inside, including walls, trim, and doors. Additionally, many of the faucets and lights are brand new. The house is spacious and inviting. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one larger and one normal size, and a full-sized bath. The stairs to the upstairs, the hall, and the bedrooms have brand-new carpet in a light shade. As mentioned, all has been recently repainted. Both bedrooms have a lot of closet space and lovely natural light. The larger bedroom has window seat storage and large windows overlooking the front yard as well as a generous closets and multi-drawer built-in dresser. The other room looks out onto the tree-lined property and boasts of two large closets as well as a cool light fixture (tour the space to check it out!). The large upstairs bathroom has small octagon-shaped white tile flooring, a Kohler pedestal sink and toilet, two storage cabinets for your toiletries, towels, etc., brushed nickel sconces, towel racks, toilet paper holder and hooks, and, of course, the requisite pristinely white bathtub and shower with a brushed nickel shower curtain rod. On the main floor, you will find newly-refinished oak hardwood floors throughout, a large living room with a gas fireplace and white brick hearth, a tv wall mount above the fire place ready for your tv and entertainment, a powder room, a coat closet, built-in book shelves, and a gourmet kitchen. The kitchen is the heart of the home, with newly resurfaced cabinets, a black granite-covered island perfect for family breakfasts and entertaining, stainless steel appliances, a six burner gas stove, oven and storage, a self-lighting pantry, and plentiful cabinet space. It also has a stainless steel trash compactor and garbage disposal. On one side you will find a dining nook that can serve as your dining room, or you can utilize part of the spacious living room for the dining room. The kitchen is surrounded by windows looking out to the side and back yards and garden, and it has a skylight and planter window, allowing for lots of natural light. The kitchen opens to the backyard, where you will find a large deck, raised beds for your gardening pleasure, roses and other thriving plants and fruit-producing trees, as well as an outside storage shed. All surrounded by a newly-installed, beautifully made fence. In the basement, accessible by newly-carpeted stairs, you will find another large room that would be a great office (also newly-carpeted) with cedar lined closets and built-in wine racks, a 3/4 bath (shower, toilet, sink) with new mat black faucet, lights, towel rack and toilet paper holder, the slate-floored laundry room (to which you can send your clothes from the upstairs bathroom's laundry chute) with built in cabinets to hold your supplies, a massive storage and furnace room, and access to the attached garage, which also has ample storage. Last but not least, the lawn has a built-in sprinkler system should you choose to water the lawn and garden with that system. Additionally, the house has an ADT security system should you wish to create an account with ADT. Note utilities and ADT are not included with the rent but must be paid separately by the tenant.
